"I so very much appreciate all the kind thoughts and good wishes expressed by the Free Republic readers.
Barbara was a great fan of Free Republic.
The knowledge of how much Barbara was loved and admired has been my chief consolation in these difficult days.
Sincerely,
Theodore B. Olson"
Her deeds, of course, will last with us forever.
We are all with you Ted! Most heartfelt condolences for your (and our) loss.
Ted Olson, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sorry for your loss. Barbara was a wonderful lady and an inspiration to conservatives everywhere in the United States. She is not gone as her spirit lives on in every member of Free Republic who fights for our liberties.
GOD bless you sir, and may HE bless Barbara's spirit as well. She has gone home to a place HE has prepared for her in heaven.
Ted,
You know Barbara will be missed by us all. May God give you strength to continue your service to our country.
...IT IS.
...Just ask the OLSONS.
God Bless America
Say it LOUD,
Say it OFTEN!
Ted, thank you for your faith, your hard work on behalf of our Free Republic, and your endurance. Eternal vigilance truly is the price of liberty, and you have continued to demonstrate to the world that you know that this is so.
Jesus warned against burying our talents (taking the safe route), but both you and your beloved Barbara obviously never fell into that trap---we really appreciate the sacrifices you both have made on our behalf.
I have no doubt that BKO stepped directly off that plane into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior---where she heard these words:
"Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful in a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter into the joy of thy Lord." -Matthew 25-21
"Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; For I was hungry and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, 'Lord, when saw we Thee hungry, and fed Thee? or thirsty, and gave Thee drink? When saw we Thee a stranger, and took Thee in? or naked, and clothed Thee? or when saw we Thee sick,or in prison, and came to Thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me."-Matthew 25:34-40
Mr. Olson, I thank you for your service to God, the nation, to me and my family, and to our posterity.

Barbara always made it so wonderful to watch the TV political debates. And I understand she was a ballet dancer and huge supporter of the fine arts -- I know now what made her special; she was truly a renaissance woman. I cried when I heard about her part in the hijacking tragedy and I so admire her bravery. Maybe someday there will be a ballet scolarship in her name; the fine arts are made finer when supported by people who like Barbara have a true soul and love of beauty.
Barbara now dances with wings on her feet!
Mr. Rodriguez...Insight ROCKS! Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you, sir, for allowing us to grieve with you. As you have lost the love of your life, we have lost a good friend. Our prayers are with you, may you hear her voice when you need her. I'm sure she is watching all of us now, but she will be with you for the rest of your life. She will be waiting for you. Godspeed, Ted Olson, and may He hold you in the palm of His right hand.
