47 year old male who went to the Southern Maryland Hospital and died 6 hours later did die of Anthrax...preliminary tests now show.

One of the problems with killing one to make others talk:

We don't have to use literal torture, properly administered drugs can make them talk and they will have a very pleasant experience as they spill their guts.

Ummmm. Did the FBI previously say that the anthrax was unrelated to the 9/11 attacks? Or did they say that they aren't sure that it IS? Once the second case hit, it was pretty certain that it was deliberate, but from whom is merely inference (albeit hardly an unreasonable one).

If several folks end up dying from anthrax because of the Feds decision to downplay it early on....can we say that the FED is partially responsible for thier death?

While the mailings are certainly something to take seriously, and we should all be on the look-out for symptoms, I wonder how many people will die from the rush on medical services, because the demand for health-care resources makes seeking treatment a nuiscance?

Yes they should have done it last week. There's no good excuse for the delays. Sure they wanted to prevent fear but more people dying isn't going to accomplish that.

The people who died in the past two days were most likely infected long before last week. The incubation period is in the range of weeks, not days. Sounds like they waited until they were damn near dead before getting ot the hospital. I pray for their families.

How are we going to get these idiots in custody - the 150+ El Qaida members/sympathizers arrested after 9/11 - to talk if we don't use some "persuasive" methods?

Howzabout we set up an interrogation center in the backroom of the Brentwood postal facility and keep 'em there 24/7 'till they talk? The interrogators can be behind glass shields and/or be wearing moonsuits for added effect.
