Clinton Pitched Fit Over Hillary Boos
Ex-president Bill Clinton pitched a fit backstage at Paul McCartney's Twin Tower benefit concert Saturday night after his wife Sen. Hillary Clinton was roundly booed by the audience.
Clinton "was very vocal and pointed backstage in his displeasure about the reception for Hillary," reports New York Daily News gossip columnist Mitchell Fink. He was "not happy," Fink added euphemistically.
The ex-president became "vocal and pointed" after Mrs. Clinton was nearly hooted off the stage by concert-goers who apparently resented her attempt to horn in on an event that was staged to honor firefighters and policemen who had perished in the Twin Tower attack.
"Thank you -- thank you for being here tonight," Mrs. Clinton shouted as she struggled to be heard, before introducing a video by stand-up comic Jerry Seinfeld.
Some in the booing crowd no doubt recalled that at Hillary's nominating convention last year, Clinton-backers spit on five members of an Albany Police honor guard as they marched an American flag into the convention center.
Two months earlier, Mrs. Clinton had branded as "murderers" four New York cops who were later aquitted in the accidental shooting death of Amadou Diallo.
The sour reception mirrors the welcome Mrs. Clinton got from cops and firefighters just two days after the attacks, when she accompanied President Bush to Ground Zero in lower Manhattan.
"The cops and firemen couldn't wait to shake Bush's hand," one eyewitness told NewsMax.com exclusively. "But when Hillary came by, everyone just stood there with their arms folded. Nobody wanted to shake her hand. It was embarrassing."
The Daily News mention of Mrs. Clinton's humiliating concert reception was the only mainstream print coverage of the incident.
WABC Radio and nationally syndicated radio host Don Imus, however, did replay clips of the crowd booing Hillary from the original VH1 cablecast.

I hope they treated this spoiled narcisistic teenager the way all spoiled temper throwing children should be treated. Ignore them. They will wear themselves out and shut up.

"
. . . THAT MAYBE THESE IDIOTS . . ."
These are cops and firemen, and their friends and families.
I doubt that more than 10% ever voted for her in the first place.

Hillary booed and bin laden bombed...life is sweet...

One can only hope that, henceforth, wherever these two shameful people go, where real people (read that, NOT handpicked clinton lackeys)gather, that the flood-gates have been opened and that the same verbal, very vocal condemnation will rain down on their clueless heads...

Hillary is really p**ed now that Guilianno is doing such a great job. Every time I see her she looks as if she's turning into stone. She's beyond faking it anymore and as to title of this thread--DITTO!!!!!!!

after Mrs. Clinton was nearly hooted off the stage Nearly? As Fox pointed out this very morning, she gave the shortest speech of the night -- no doubt she cut it short. I believe she may have been the only one who didn't talk about a fallen fireman or police officer.

I believe one would accurately describe Wilhemina's rage as a "HISSY FIT!"

Hopefully some of those backstage saw the "real" Bill Clinton. But probably not.
What was the point of pitching a fit? Did he think the people putting on the show could "handle" the crowd? He's too use to be around ONLY people that like him.
This is EXACTLY why they don't make themselves available to the general press and public. Did you know that last week when she was on Hannity & Colmes, she said she wouldn't come on there if Sean asked her ANY questions?
Maybe, just maybe people are getting it. If he couldn't be removed from office, maybe public humiliation is the next best thing.

"The cops and firemen couldn't wait to shake Bush's hand,"
I think GW would be wise to spend a LOT more time in NY when he campaigns for reelection in 2004.

These heros had every right to booo Mrs. Klintoon. After the way she has badmouthed the cops and firemen over the years. She has shown no respect for them. And as for Drudge and his report that the folks were all drunk and rowdy last night, I think the whole afair was meant for the people that have been there to let their hair down a little. I know if I had been working at ground zero for the last month and carrying my coworkers and friends out of there, I'd be ready to raise a little hell. As for proper demeanor towards Mrs. Klintoon she can just kiss my bottom. The poor little dear they just don't know what they've done. Oh yeah and Bill on your way to Arlington Cemetary on veterans day last year as you passed over the washington memorial bridge I was the one giving you a mid finger salute you piece of garbbage. Some would say that too was an inappropriate time and place well I say it is always a good time to let you know that we the people think you are dirt and the whore you are married to is just as bad if not worse. Just go away and die a slow painful death both of you.

One troubling aspect of these reports (and many Freeper responses) is that everyone is buying the line that it was cops and firemen.
The folks up front were cops and firemen, but the arena was mostly filled with people who just bought tickets... and they were booing too.
