October 22, 2001 -- Lead suicide hijacker Mohamed Atta visited a Virginia naval base at least twice this year, perhaps thinking of making an aircraft carrier one of his terror targets, it was reported today.
Atta made the trips to Norfolk in February and April, according to Newsweek.

There is a large school of thought within Islam that believes that the number nineteen seals the Koran as the unadulterated word of god. Though I'd doubt the hand of god being involved, nineteen has definitely been creatively coded into the entire structure of the Koran. The use of nineteen hijackers may have been of importance to bin Laden for this reason.

Yes, I find it utterly impossible to believe that we pay billions and billions of dollars to support the FBI and CIA and they had no clue of these folks. As a matter of fact I don't believe it. They sure came up with a list and info after the attacks.
