I love this recipe, but I have a little trouble finding all the ingredients. Where oh where do I get a Mediterranean herd? Is that something like a Hudson River flock or an Atlantic school?

Oh Chef of the Future, you shouldn't be ashamed....I think it would probably taste better with a herd, but then, what do I know? I'm a vegetarian. LOL :} So when is the cookbook going to press? I hope your picture's in it.

Wish I was artistically inclined, but alas, I'm not. I can hardly wait to order my copy of the cookbook, though, and I hope my recipes are included, though it's OK if they're not. I don't think I named them with clever titles, but wish I had. Any name changes on the recipes, if they're included, will be fine with me!

We are currently laying out each page, but if you have any ideas on a name change, lets have it, give us the current name, and the changes you wish to make, and if they haven't reached those pages, it's a done deal. We will be at the printer in 2 weeks...gulp!

Were coming up on Thanksgiving soon so I'm sending you up a sweet potato recipe from the South! Its a keeper!

Sweet Potato Casserole

4 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes (6 medium sweet potatoes)
1/2 to 3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup of milk
1/4 cup butter, melted

2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Combine the first 6 ingredients. Beat with a mixer until smooth. Spoon into a greased 2 quart baking dish.
For topping: combine the last 4 ingredients. Sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

Your Pinzimonio recipe looks magnificent and I thank you for the ping but wanted to say I looked all OVER the Internet one week ago for this very recipe and ended up shelling out $6 for a bottle of a similar item to go with the focaccia bread I'd just made.

I am looking forward to using this, though. In about six months. ;-)

OK FReepers, please give a round of applause to Jayne and Piasa for their contributions to the content's titles. Of course, the chef goofed--oooooops! I hear he doesn't do that with the recipes!

DESSERTS We've Had Our Fill of Bill
Cakes
What Are Those Horns Popping Out of the Devil’s Food Cake?
Cookies/Bars
Chocolate Slip Cookies and Bill Behind Bars
Pies
Bubba's Makin' Whoopie In The White House Pies

Pasta.....Pass da Security Secrets

San Jacinto sent a whole bunch of ideas for recipe titles, some of which follow:

"Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Fruit Salad
(2) "Hillary's Southern Fried Chicken" .......Hint: Use big thighs, small breasts, and only the left wings
(3) "Red-Zone Roast Beef Dinner"--An All-American Meal of Roast Beef, Roasted Potatoes, Red Carrots, Real Celery, and Ripe Onions--(just use the regular old pot roast and vegetables recipe
(4) How about this for a chapter heading: "Pardon me, Boys--Is that the Cat Who Gave me Bou-cous?" (Of money, that is)

First, I want a different veggie title. Second, the recipes have been chosen, and everyone is included, but please, on this last leg, I would love to slip in a few names or two. We have to remain in alpha order, so any ideas for additional culprits would be grand. I cannot thank you enough for such fun!!!!!!
