Well to be fair to Mineta, the airlines had a lot clearer picture with their inside info. Credit them with quick decision to protect their planes, and credit Mineta with quickly seeing that it needed to be expanded nationwide. Kudos all around on this one.
Armchair quarterbacks may want to criticize the government on this, but c'mon, prior to this moment, could anybody really think that there would be multiple hijacks for this purpose, and that there might be others moments away?

Thanks for the post!

They'd have to improve to be worthless. They are sworn enemies of what is good and clean and decent and honest and fair and right. They are the apotheosis of human filth. You may have noticed, they didn't fall all over themselves in outrage at the attacks on our homeland.

Bump and thanks for this post.
Heartbreaking
But his is the very first time I have read this anywhere:
The hijackers had hit people with some sort of spray that made her eyes burn.
She was having trouble breathing

I agree.

Great find. I found myself getting tense as I read it as if 9-11 were happening all over again. A prayer of thanks to all the airline executives who handled this and sent teams out the the sites for families.

Any time that it appears that our nation's resolve to prosecute this war is waning, all the networks should replay the film of the WTC being hit - and interview people whose lives were directly affected. And why would you expect the media to play on pro-war sympathy to favor the republicans?

<< This is what I think of when the UN and the EU talk of demanding the bombing stop. Folks .... these two entities .... are ultimately worthless. >>
The UN is but the manifestation of the Communist Manifesto; the EU but the Neo-Soviet.
Each is as worthless to [American Vanguarded] Human Civilization as it is Absolutely Evil!

I agree. The decline in western civilization has been a terrible thing to watch. And I don't let the US off the hook with that regard. There's more to success than the financial bottom line. We're laying the foundation for failure IMO.

<< There's more to success than the financial bottom line. >>
For those Americans who appreciate the Absolute uniqueness of Our Beloved FRaternal Republic, the bottom line is but a symptom of the Essential Goodness with which America and Americans have created modern Human Success.
But we are allowing collectivist, essentially fascistic, corporatists posing as Capitalists -- and their politician and bureaucrat cronies -- to set the modern agenda. And, as Professor Peter stated clearly enough to be understood by all except those who will not learn, neither corporatists nor their political enablers are Capitalists, innovators or creators.
They are but institutionalized mediocracies, not capable of anticipation. Second handers. Followers.
Consumers.
And are indeed the engines of failure.
God save America, eh?
