Its great to see all those NYPD/NYFD folks down from and clapping hands to David Bowie (opening act).

PHUQUE every one of these self-indulgent POS.

Drop them on Kandahar, all wearing "Usama Sucks" T-shirts.

Budman,

Thank you so much for posting this link. It was great fun following along last night.

Please. Please. Please if anyone gets clips of Operaman, BooGate and BCM's brother, post them so we can see them here. I can't believe I watched VH1 for that long. You all made me feel as if I were on the phone way back when with my friends in high school analyzing a major event.

Bump for 2000.

Well, for me it's like this..I'm sure all the stars were very entertaining, and said some "nice" things appropriate for the moment. But I can't really get entertained anymore by people who I know are against everything that's decent and good in this country. People who have used their notoriety to further their own socialist/sexual agendas. There are a few patriots in the bunch, but most of the entertainment industry aren't fit to lick the boots of the men and women they were championing. Tomorrow they will go back to their ivory towers and try to figure out more ways to tear down this country.

To everyone: VH-1 says on their website the concert will be rerun at 3 p.m. EST, not 2 p.m.

I was glad that Eric Clapton got on stage last night before I went out so that I could videotape his performance. He was fantastic as usual ... wish he would have done more than two selections.

Would have liked to have taped The Who and the Stones also, but they came on too late and I couldn't wait around.

My sister videotaped all but about the first 20 minutes of the whole concert, so she got all the good clips, including Hil'ry getting booed.

I videotaoed the clip Fox showed about an hour ago of her getting booed, but that's all I got. I checked VH1 to see if they were re-airing the concert at 2pm, as some on this thread thought they might do, but so far they haven't done it.

I definately want to get *certain segments* of that concert on tape, so will be watching to see if they re-air it.

As I was typing this, Fox just now re-played the clip of Hil'ry on stage and made the comment that she was "getting a less than enthusiastic reception" (you could hear the boos in the background, and see the fleeting flicker that went through her eyes as she tried to ignore them). Fox also showed the Klintoons sitting up in the balcony saying that even they had to take secondary seating as the heros of the NYFD, NYPD and their families were being honored and were given front row seats.

Puff Daschle and the Clitons managed to get the DemocRATS some face time, but since they, and their feminized party, are the ones who have been emasculating America, making her weak, and vulnerable to attack for the better part of the past 60 years, their legacy is EVIDENT in the rubble of the WTC.

Their current pretense of *unity* facade, does not fool anyone capable of critical thought.

They can run ... but they can't hide from their legacy. We will never let those cynical opportunists and their useful idiot supporters forget. Never, never, never.

I can’t believe no one here has cracked on Richard Gere. Understanding and compassion...excuse me, but not while we’re burying our dead.

Some of the greatest moments ever on TV. I will never forget it. God bless everyone (minus two) in last night's Madison Square Garden. Heroic effort by Paul McCartney. He'll be on stage to receive his Emmy for this next year.

Did Will Farrell really do an impression of President Bush for this show? If so, did people laugh? It sounds obnoxious.

Mrs. Wardaddy and I caught the show from the time Clapton and Buddy Guy came on after we put our 17 month old to nite-nite. I must say we were fairly impressed. The booing of ALL the liberals was heartening...Gere was a particular arsewipe standout. The patriotic approval of Guiliani and Adam Sandler's jibes were comforting. The Who did better than I expected. The Stones were a bit off but Salt of the Earth was a treat. I was most impressed by McCartney (a professed liberal) and his heartfelt appreciation for America and his stated declaration that "Freedom must be defended". Strong words from artist type folks. It's a strange day now isn't it? Old rockers drumming the war beat along with the rest of us...I hope it lasts.

The children sobbing as they spoke of their dead fathers brought serious tears to both my wife's and my own eyes. It was tuff to watch.

Sorry I missed Bowie doing Heroes....bet it was good.

Finally, whoever that big Irish cop/firefighter from East Rockaway who slammed our enemies: God Bless You Sir and I pray you get the revenge you justly deserve for your pain. It'll never go away but some getback does help.

All and all...not too shabby for entertainment types...I'll never view McCartney again the same...ever. Good man.
