Another good thing about this concert is that a bunch of musicians who were going to perform with Michael Jackson dropped out of HIS concert in favor of playing with McCartney. In addition to the unstated reason of the feud between McCartney & Jackson, another supposed reason was a concern that Jackson would make the concert all about himself.

"The WHO have GRAVITAS!!!!" LOL! That's what it is!!! Seems that NY's finest are enjoying them a whole lot more than the Backend Boys.....
To: Howlin
I'm glad to see them having fun, too, but seeing so many people hold up all the photos of the dead puts it all into perspective... those folks can certainly use the R&R.
To: terilyn
They did that at Waco.
To: PianoMan
LOL - aren't Pete and Roger a little old to be doing Teenage Wasteland?
To: Aquinasfan
Fantastic harmonica!
To: Amore
In addition to the unstated reason of the feud between McCartney & JacksonCould it be that Jackson bought all the rights to McCartney's songs and won't sell them back?

Behind Blue Eyes. It's giving me chills.
To: Sungirl
wow!!!!!!!!!!
even though I can't stand Paul McCartney's politics(although better than lennon's)I would like to thank him to for puting this together. By the way he walked into the closest firehouse to the WTC and gave away 100 front row tickets worth $2000 each to the firemen.
