All good things come to those who are patient. Turned on Fox & Friends and saw Hillary bin Rodham trying to make the best of the absolute worse situation possible for a pol. Went over to Imus (just in case) and sure 'nuff he played it with his scathing commentary. AND for those who may have slept in, Cavuto showed it during the 9:00 a.m. segment on Fox. What a way to start the day!

Thankfully the tape is available.
Sick Hillary spin, "All things considered, Hillary had nothing to be ashamed of when you consider the company she was in. ... The drunken, angry, mostly white, conservative uniformed fire fighters behaved badly throughout the night..."
Another observers perspective, "I was there also and stayed until the end. I had to walk around 3/4 of the Garden to get to the exit I wanted. I saw NO vomit and no rowdy Firemen, The booing of Hillary came from all over the hall not just the Firemen and cops.
The Firemen sitting near me said she shows up for photo session events but was not to be seen when a Fireman or Policeman were killed pre Sept 11.
They know her for what she is! I need say no more."
Each comes from Drudge email.
Simply consider what\who she is willing to destroy for her own benefit.
I'm standing up right now booing her. In fact we cannot drop this. In recognition of our courageous firefighters, police, citizens of NY, a monthly FreeRepublic Hillary Booing Day is now in order. I so declare the first Monday of every month.

I always thought that it would have been awsome at a Bush 2000 campaign rally if they would have played "Dont't stop(thinking about tommorow)" and screeched it to a halt, and then opened up "Won't get fooled again"!
They did do exactly this, quite a few times.

Agreed, we must keep this alive... might I suggest instead of the first of each month we go with the 20th (date of the historical booing) and all meet here in celebration to relive the moment?

Mrs. Wardaddy and I caught the show from the time Clapton and Buddy Guy came on after we put our 17 month old to nite-nite. I must say we were fairly impressed. The booing of ALL the liberals was heartening...Gere was a particular arsewipe standout. The patriotic approval of Guiliani and Adam Sandler's jibes were comforting. The Who did better than I expected. The Stones were a bit off but Salt of the Earth was a treat. I was most impressed by McCartney (a professed liberal) and his heartfelt appreciation for America and his stated declaration that "Freedom must be defended". Strong words from artist type folks. It's a strange day now isn't it? Old rockers drumming the war beat along with the rest of us...I hope it lasts.
The children sobbing as they spoke of their dead fathers brought serious tears to both my wife's and my own eyes. It was tuff to watch.
Sorry I missed Bowie doing Heroes....bet it was good.
Finally, whoever that big Irish cop/firefighter from East Rockaway who slammed our enemies: God Bless You Sir and I pray you get the revenge you justly deserve for your pain. It'll never go away but some getback does help.
All and all...not too shabby for entertainment types...I'll never view McCartney again the same...ever. Good man.
