Watch the replay if for nothing else than to see the Hildebeast be booed unmercifully. It wasn't just a smattering of boos until she got going...they booed the whole time she was on stage. The more she talked, the more they booed, and the louder and faster she talked. At the end of her incredibly short speech, she rushed off of the stage without looking back.
I would have given anything to see her expression when she came off of the stage. It woulda been priceless.

As regards Richard Gere, at least, to his credit, he acknowledged nobody was agreeing with him. Unlike HIllary who just kept blabbing and fumbling her way through. To New Yorkers, did anyone notice some of the men in uniform turned their backs on Van Essen? Any idea why or am I wrong. Additionally, the filmwork by all: Scorsese, Burns, Lee was quintessential New York. Hah! I used to live on Mott St., cool shot by Scorsese of Old St. Pat's. Woody Allen, well he was just his weird old self. V's wife.

If I am reading it correctly It will be a webcast, not an airing on VH1.

If VH-1 doesn't show any commericals boogate is around 3 1/2 hours into the show. Circa 6:30 eastern time then. I can't freaking wait. VCR at the ready. And will someone please capture the audio and put it online? If no one does it tonight, I will take the VHS tape to work tomorrow and convert it to digital.
Drudge should be fun tonight. Can't freaking wait for that either.

graduated in 1987!

Please tape it or something....I do not have cable. Hopefully some Freepers can tape it and put it online.

Guess I'm too late for graduated in 1986, huh?
To: Texas2step
Thanks, wish I could. I had to "listen" to the concert vicariously here through Freeper comments because my cable system does not carry VH-1 (although supposedly in about a week it will!)
Ventana, I think maybe you meant to direct your Gere comments to someone else? (don't think I've said anything about him)

WEBCAST? Dang, I don't think I can capture that. I guess I could set up a mic in front of the speaker. WHO IS SET UP TO CAPTURE THIS GEM AND PUT IT ONLINE? This is history, and must be digitally preserved for humanity.

Hillary got booed big-time bump
To: tomkat
ust my $.02, but since you started it, i figure you oughta get #2,000 ...We'll give it a bump.....watchin' NASCAR now.....so bump for Lil' E!
To: budman_2001
Gotta bump it to 2K... anything less for seeing Hillary booed on national tv would be a travesty. :^)

Boo, Hillary & Bill, Booooooo!!!

I'm no fan either, and Gawd his music stunk last night, I mean the new tunes--yikes, sorry fans--but his effort and heart are in the right place. And it's ok if he's late to respecting the high cost and worth of freedom: better late then never. Thought Buddy Guy and Clapton were excellent, missed Bowie, thought Billy Joel was good, not his biggest fan, but he is a stand up New Yorker. Adam Sandler was hilarious. I thought Destiny's Child were very sweet and added a nice womenly touch and spiritual touch to an otherwise all-male (including Ms. Etheridge) evening! V's wife.

Surely there's a FReeper here who caught it last night and will be releasing the Hildebeast moment as a single. They can post it in a separate link, ping this thread and that thread alone with get over 3,000 replies, I'm sure...
To: budman_2001
And I'd also like to thank JimRob/JohnRob for the new layout....it has served us well! $50.00 to the Freeper-Fund a little later today (when the wife goes shopping---heeheehee)
To: Semper911
I'm positive VH-1 will run it on tv again, several times. Only question is whether they will edit the boos. And of course a rerun some time in the future doesn't help those of us who are jonesing for a fix right now!
