I was listening from the NYC area, 30 mi. away in N. Jersey. I caught about 5 seconds of both Clintons, and had to turn away both times, so unfortunately I missed the boos, which would have been salve on my soul.

I believe that fireman, Michael Moran (KISS MY ROYAL IRISH ASS) is the brother of our departed Freeper BCM (Battalion Chief Moran)

The concert held me spellbound. I have never watched any benefit concert for more than 5 minutes before. It was elecrifying and healing. It was just what we all needed. Hillary getting booed was soooooooooo delicious, I'm going to turn on FOX to see if they play it again

No Motley Crue, I am disappointed! They put on rapper crapper JZ. Motley Crue could have played "Shout at the Devil". The "Devil" is bin Laden. (Flame On). (Don't flame me too bad; I just like The Crue's music, I'm an 80's kid, cut me some slack. I'm not the only one! RATT-N-ROLL.) Peace! God Bless America! MotleyGirl70

That botherd me, too. I hope when the war is over, the military, and family and friends of those who died, will be given a concert like this. I wouldn't count on Gere showing up, though. Who in Hollywood will take Bob Hope's place to entertain the troops?

What an awesome concert and fr thread. Glad I was able to digitally record the entire event on dish network's version of tivo pvr unit on its 40 gig hard drive. This was a real keeper. Opera man was priceless!

Didn't you think they all seemed a little less than eager during the big sing-a-long?
Maybe I'm still reeling from all the excitement from the Clintons' boos... but my husband noticed it too. We've watched way too many of these things, perhaps, and it seemed obvious to us how uncomfortable they all were.
Perhaps they were just realizing that the place was swarming with law enforcement who support the war effort and frown on possession of illegal drugs. ~~grin~~

I was wondering the same thing myself! I know those cops and firefighters grew up in the 80's! Some Crue, Ratt, and AC/DC would have been awsome!!! Those bands never had any Liberal-PC songs.
