You scared me. Really. I can only offer hope. And not much of that. Maybe, just maybe some corporate officers have been 'scared straight', if only for a little while. Maybe GWB really is a Christian and has the 'mind of God'. At bottom, it is only true faith in Christian and Judaic values that will get us through this and on into any future worth living. Hope ... and PRAY.
I cannot go to bed on 9/10 worried about the direction our nation is heading, and wake up to 9/11 thinking that all of a sudden, we as a nation, are all headed in the same direction and with the same goals. At present our goals are mutual survival, we are doing more to insure the Corporations survival than they are doing about insuring ours, as evidenced by our still open borders and insane 30 million visa's of one kind and another issued.
The Corporation will only apply the lightest bandaid unless we raise a huge fuss about them not living up to their end of the mutual survival endeavor.
