**** I am a firm believer that "all" illegal foreigners be deported ... why single out those from the mid-east! ****
Well I can think of some reasons to put the ME illegals at the top of the list. As to the question of illegal alliens in general. I agree. As to the Mexican workers we must simply start a real guest Worker program. I like having my construction projects completed and my lawn mowed.
Our government is no longer a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, anyone who still believes that needs a shrink. Our government is now a corporation, it is only "of, for, and by", in so far as it grants the ability of a diverse mix of people, they don't care who, to come and grease the wheels of the corporation, and that is the extent of their concern or care about us, our foundations, our destiny, our morals, or our doctrines and principles.
We are free to hold our doctrines and principles, only in so far as they do not clash with the goals and aims of the Corporation, which is to promote it's power, influence, and wealth. Liberals, just like heads of Labor Unions, negotiate the rights of the workers and those that don't work.
Where does that leave us Conservative Constitutionalists? Out in the cold, thats where. Those of us that believe that the foundations on which we began are critical to our individual freedom, the protection of our future, and a cherished birth right, to be guarded and passed down, in order to sustain individual freedoms are a big problem to the Corporation. The Corporation doesn't have such high flung ideals, the Corporation feels it should be able to dish out individual freedom at their control and benevolence in a way that is good for the Corporation and the sustaining of it's influence and power, if that clashes with individual rights, such as gun ownership, then those rights must go. After all what is good for the Corporation is good for the "right" individuals that understand and appreciate the Corporation.
If the Corporation is threatened, as it is now, then it is acceptable to put it's citizens in harms way if in so doing it ensures that the Corporation can continue with it's free trade, the wealth of Arab money buying influence, oil to run on, and cheap imported labor to operate with.
After all, get a grip, it is much easier to replace citizens that may be wiped out with new imports, rather than stop the "Doctrine of Free Trade", snake oil, that we are selling the rest of the world, the open border policies we promote, globalism, and World Government. What better thing to give you and your loved ones life and freedoms for eh? You can die a hero to the generation of worker bees that will come after you, and raise the economic level of individuals in the entire third world. Not to mention the fact that many pesky Constitutionalist may be wiped out in by terrorism, you know, those idiots that think they need to guard and pass down what the sacred blood of their ancestors bought for them to following generations that will treasure and uphold them. After all third worlders coming here really think they are free in comparison to where they have come from.
All that has to be done by the Corporation is say a few patriotic words, reassure the public, tell frightened citizens to spend that money, don't let the terrorists win, time to move forward, nothing to see here, etc. If elite Corporate members face a real threat however, they are to abandon the scene and head for cover immediately. Gas masks can be found all over the appropriate buildings. Welcome to Amerika, we are united, at least that is the way I see it so far.
Are we conservatives just being selfish, holding on to freedoms we don't need, hanging on to old ways, or are we the watch dogs of individual freedom, demanding an accountability on the part of a government that says "there is no controlling legal authority"? Do you own a farm, property? You may just be selfish and standing in the way of Corporate earnings and consuming resources that will benefit the hive. We do live in interesting times don't we.
I like the way you think ...about 99%
Tell me true ... it was the brussels sprouts controversy, wasn't it?! *grin*
Yes, they might have woke us up to how much America has been destroyed from within. I have faith there is enough of the old America left which will be saved, the politically correct America can't die fast enough as far as I'm concerned.
You scared me. Really. I can only offer hope. And not much of that. Maybe, just maybe some corporate officers have been 'scared straight', if only for a little while. Maybe GWB really is a Christian and has the 'mind of God'. At bottom, it is only true faith in Christian and Judaic values that will get us through this and on into any future worth living. Hope ... and PRAY.
How does the deportation of Middle East nationals that are here as "guests" in ANY WAY "compromise" our Constitution? Answer: IT DOESN'T. The U.S. Government under it's immigration laws and powers can deport anyone at any time for reasons of national security and a whole host of other reasons. Why do you libertarians continue to mischaracterize this issue by saying its unconstitutional? I suggest in the spirit of honesty that you just admit that you and other libertarians are willing to run the risk of more and greater acts of terrorism in this country at the hands of visiting Muslim terrorists rather than hurt the feelings of the Muslim population at large. You might as well admit it because YOU KNOW our government's right to deport is NOT a constitutional matter. Stop spreading the Big Lie and be candid for once.
EXACTLY the WRONG thing to do. That's how PC got into power ... cause no one took it seriously at first. Now we could conceivably lose our country because of PC. You HAVE GOT TO GET IN THE FACE of ANYBODY or ANYTHING PC. Shout it down, knock it down, beat it down ... cause if we let it show it's ugly head again WE WILL ultimately lose.
LOL! Oh, sir ... I see the confusion reflected in your comments to me ... 'tis my fault ... for I was addressing a larger picture ...
I am anything but a libertarian, WRhine ... SEND THEM ALL BACK who are NOT legally here ... whose Visas have expired ... whose tourist Visas have expired ... whose work Visas have expired ... send them all back ...
This is, clearly, within the framework of our Constitution ... adheres to it from A to Z ... I WILL DRIVE THE BOAT ....N/C ... even though I am a happy little capitalist ...
But National ID cards and the like ... subjective face screenings?!
I've a small business, sir ... and employ legal Mexicans ... or none at all ... so I know a bit about this process ....
So I guess we can be friends ... as long as I make myself more clear?!
