Does anyone know know what Dubya has nicknamed him? I know our president is really fond of him, so he has to have given him a nickname.

He stressed that these soldiers did NOT die in vain. Conversely, at Travis Air Force Base just before flying to China, he said that the terrorists DID die in vain.

When the Japanese PM visited Washington post 9/11, Bush gave him an original one-sheet movie poster of the Gary Cooper western "High Noon". Apparently the Japanese PM is a big fan of US Westerns (what smart person isn't?). It reminded me of when Gorby went all wet asking Ronnie about Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne. American cinema is a uniter, NOT a divider!!!! Signs of a truly wise and thoughtful person: a) enjoys giving meaningful gifts; b) makes an effort to find out what the receiver likes; and c) goes out of his way, if necessary, to find it. W used this simple conversational exchange, in which he learned about the Japanese PM's intense likes, and ran with it, BUILDING THE INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE US AND JAPAN IN THE PROCESS and the sense of personal camraderie between the men.
Unlike blubba, who buys bikinis (for his oh-so-svelte bride?).

Thanks, Billie. Super art.
Bush is great. He talks plain and true. When he says he will do a thing he does it.

Thanks, LibKill. Actually, both of those graphics are being printed on tshirts, mugs, caps, mousepads, etc. (but no bumper stickers) at Cafe Press. There are links on my profile page and on the Guild and on the USO Canteen threads. All proceeds go to the American Red Cross for the WTC victims.
