It seems that once again, like in the case of Elian, the love between parents and children was stronger than TOTAL evil. Will William pay with his life for this ?

I don't have a very high degree of tolerance for monarchies as a form of government, even in the largely ceremonial sense as in the UK.
But his renunciation of the crown is kind of a hollow protest as long as he retains any pretentions to the rank and titles afforded him as a member of the "royal family".
Either you are "in the game" with all of this peerage stuff, or you are not. I mean, is he renouncing his position in the lineage, and on throughout all of his children and their generations? Is he really declaring himself to be "a commoner" (as the gentry so gently put it).
Or is he simply looking to follow in the madcap and carefree footsteps of his good old Uncle Andy? Lots of cash, not a care in the world, castles, serfs, vassels, porn stars for bed warmers.
What a life!

This is "Breaking News" if ever there was.
Wanted: One King. Apply in person at Buckingham Palace.
Keep up the good work.

Dude, you've had some really strange posts. Are you ok?
I thought Britney Spears died in an LA car wreck a few weeks ago, sorta a twist on The World According To Garp.
Has anyone asked if they have Prince Albert in a can?

I'll tell you what, William. If you don't want the King job, I'll take it.

William just needs to grow up and realize that his mama was a slut. If he wants to remain stupid, let him. Give his brother Harry the job. The younger kid is probably a bigger man than Willy any way.

The kid's entitled to do whatever he wants, including turning down this lifechanging responsibility. But please don't make Diana out to be something she wasn't. In the end she turned out to be a nightclub running ho.

I have always believed that the strongest argument against monarchy is the damage that the totally un-natural lifestyle and environment does to the souls of the royalty.

Will William pay with his life for this ??
No. That's my best guess.
It is nice to see the Monarchy coming to an end. I never liked the idea of kings and queens, it all seems very expensive and it ends up destroying people like Diana. Down with the Monarchy!

One little problem with this story, besides the fact that it comes from a disreputable tabloid. The author claims that William is "following in the footsteps of his Mom," which implies that he is behaving as she would want him too. But Diana bragged
endlessly about the FUTURE KING--HER SON.
Diana wanted this kid to be King so bad she could taste it.
The story is bunk.
