Is that a pic from the Berlin Airlift?

A quick story:

When I lived in GE, I went to a model airplane clubs big 'flugtag' (sp?) and close to the end of the show, all the children ran out into the field and picked up candy that was being dropped from a large model airplane.

I'm sure you know of the original story.

It moved me to tears because it seemed to be a 'tribute' to Americans, and having not spoken to anyone except to order a beer, I'm pretty sure I was about the only American there (it was a small town) (Griesheim).

I'll never forget that.

In other words, I just milled about the crowd. They weren't doing this to impress anyone it seemed to be rooted in the genuine gratitude the German people must have felt 50 years before my arrival.

Why did God make women pretty? So we could stay covered up all the time? He made them pretty for men to look at, didn't he? Eve must have been beautiful.

Considering the Song of Songs, this is no doubt true. I think Eve was probably brunette, though that's from a genetic basis. If she was the mother of all living, I don't think she could have been blond.

#121. OMG! I was out of the country when the WTC was attacked. This is the first time I've seen this picture. Horrifying!

If Adam were brunette, she could have been blond!

Are you in the dipolmatic corps?

No, but I've spent over nine years as a software contractor/consultant. You get used phrasing things in a diplomatic fashion, since clients hate hearing that their principal problems are caused mainly by their own stupidity.
