I still don't know what good it does to announce on the front page of one of the most read papers in the country/world where our troops are and what their mission is.Neither do I. Heads should roll over this.

Heh, come on now. An unnamed Pentagon official leaks troop deployments to the Washington Post, and everyone from CNN to Fox News picks up on this within minutes, at just the right time for Pakistanis and Afghans to hear about it after breakfast. And this comes after there have been _no_ major leaks whatsover, and when Bush is asked about it in China, he cooly responds "sorry, can't talk about it." Word on CNN or Fox was that there were 3 teams, 2 to link up with CIA near Kandahar who were working on convincing Pushtuns to fight the Taliban, and another search and destroy team south of Kabul. Can we say "watch the birdie?" Heh.
