You're killing me!! I had to look to make sure they weren't based in Fuquay Varina or over in Lizard Lick. Do you realize how much money this company is going to make?

Huh. I just posted an article from Salon.com that claimed there WERE no field-type tests available. Seems to me that if there IS, the fire and police and hazmat of this country need them yesterday.

Followup statement: I heard that one hoax in Florida cost taxpayers $1.5 million before it was decided a hoax. This oughta cut the costs significantly, if true.

"Lizard Lick" - Now that would be a hoot.
Among bizarre NC place names, that takes the cake!
Of course, the company is probably privately held, so "President and Chief Executive Donald Prodrebarac" will be the man with all the do-re-mi pretty soon.

I saw your article, just after I posted this.
I will have to reserve judgement on this company until I hear of independent testing of its kits.
After all, you can ADVERTISE that you have a working perpetual-motion machine all you want.
Making one that WORKS is a different story altogether.

Is this in the same category as "magnetic" water "purifiers" or copper bracelets?

Just providing the info.
See my above disclaimer (#6) - I am quite skeptical, too.

You just posted the same type of comment on ChemistCat's thread, and on others.
Like it or not, right now ANTHRAX IS NEWS.
This is a news forum, after all.

Thanks for the symbol.
I hadn't had time to look yet & didn't get to read the WSJ article that was referenced.
Is VLPI on the NASDAQ?
To: Constitution Day
OTC. It will sell off a little at the close today. I might buy a few shares tomorrow.

This is why Osama and Saddam will NEVER destroy us. Present some people with an obstacle and they fold up like a cheap deck of cards. Not Americans! Not ever!! Prsent us with some kind of hazardous threat and some of us figure out how to make a profit of it and develope a new business activity.
America is something no other country can ever be - a gigantic economic dynamo which can out-produce any other nation on earth. A giant market which devours mass-produced products like no other society which ever existed. We are a society which thives on challenges and adversity. If Osama and Saddam really wanted to destroy us, they should just leave us alone. The chances of self-destruction, slim as they are, are better than any chance an aggressor can destroy us.
