There's many verses; it's very amusing...Pollitt goes to heaven, but is soon sent down below for 'spreading disaffection amongst the heavenly host'.

I am listening to it right now. Katha Pollitt is an effin child, an absolute effin child. Her arguments, based on total ignorance and lack of study, sound like the same old tired campus leftist jingoism's like "Mean People Suck", "Hate is Not a Family Value", and "Univerity GMC-Suburu". I particularly loved this little exchange:

Andrew: Your stammering is quite eloquent.

Katha (joined by Moderator): Hey! Hey! That's just unfair!

That exchange pretty much summed up the entire 40 minutes. Katha's vaunted 'intellect' didn't need a medic, it needed a coroner.

I listened up to the point where Andrew Sullivan asked MZZZZZZ Pollitt if she would also blame a woman who was raped for bringing it upon herself because of what she was wearing. Wonderful analogy to the Wimpus Americanus Apologeticus types such as MZZZZZZZZZ Pollitt who just love to blame the United States for everything and go around apologizing for everything we stand for.

Thanks IH, I checked it out in its entirety and it is really stunning to hear the platitudes thrown around by the left. This chick has no idea what to do about this war situation except "...put Israel on the table, rethink our position in the Middle East...". Not a shred of specifics, just all feel good blather. Andrew Sullivan has a clear and concise command of what is happening, and what we should do in response. He wiped the floor with this bimbo. Figures, she writes for The Nation. She wouldn't let her daughter fly the flag because, to her, it represents war and jingoism.

It brought to mind a local lefty (including the indecipherable and insufferable Michael Jackson) LA radio station's new slogan - "Not Just Facts............ Fellings" HAH!!
