One term George (BARF ALERT)
Northwest Florida Daily News | 10-18-2001 | Anita Pierce

One-term George

In 1992 and 1996 we elected a brilliant president who led this country to its highest potential with the best economy in this country's history. His foreign policies and hard work went far toward peace in the Middle East. Through no fault of his, it failed. He worked diligently for peace in Ireland also. As a result, he is warmly received throughout the world for his hard work toward peace, his intelligence and his caring for all people.

In 2000 we had a fraudulent election with widespread corruption by the GOP. The Supreme Court decided whom it wanted and installed him in the White House.

For the first time in our history, we have a non-elected commander in chief leading us. Voters' wishes were irrelevant and ignored, so we now have a person who knew nothing about the economy or foreign policy and had no real-world experience leading us. We have the old men from 20 years ago, Cheney and Rumsfeld, to see us through these bad times.

As Americans, we will be behind this man because of the war and the tradition of backing the commander in chief during times like these. Thankfully, though, he will be leading us for only one term and his service will be temporary.

Zogby: In Crisis, It's Bush Over Clinton by Landslide

A Zogby International poll released Monday afternoon shows that Americans prefer to have President Bush leading them through the current terrorist crisis over ex-president Clinton by a landslide margin of 72 percent to 20 percent.

The poll, taken in conjuction with Associated Television News, surveyed 1,011 registered voters between Oct. 8 and 10 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.2 percent.

On Monday, Clinton was quoted as saying that he wished he was still in White House and has reportedly lamented privately that he had no major crisis, beyond his own impeachment, to shape his presidency.

Despite the Zogby survey's stunning result, the poll has received virtually no mainstream media coverage.

Sort of like her beloved Bill Clinton in 1992.

This 'Miz' Pierce seems to have a serious problem with historical accuracy. Her writing could be used to make a case for restrictions on freedom of the press! ;-)

I know it's a Zogby poll, but our cable company just gave us FOX News on Monday and I've been watching it ever since. They had the "whopping" statement on the trailer that runs under the main video all night.

I'm just lovin FOX

It all depends on how you define the word 'brilliant'. And how you define the word 'we'.

This is as perfect an example of "Black is White" thinking as can be demonstrated. One must force one's mind through a sieve to be able to accept that the most corrupt man ever to hold the office is somehow a "brilliant choice" and that the predictable collapse of the Oslo Peace Accords is due to no fault of Clinton's. The man was thoroughly incompetent in the area of foreign policy, due to his ideological biases and lack of experience, integrity, and leadership qualities, and we will now suffer the consequences of 8 years of misrule and deterioration.

Why does this Anita Pierce person insist on poisoning the national dialog with this kind of fraud? Because she is little more than a child, intellectually, and emotionally. Essentially, because of the viciously contentious nature of the Clinton presidency, she was forced to side with a man that initially fooled her and millions of others, in order to justify her original choice for president in '92, and to later defend the indefensible as the scandals mounted and mounted. A mature person would have begun the process of rethinking her support for this corrupt man. Certainly there were enough warning signs and clear examples of Clinton's mendacious nature to eventually make any "thinking" person doubt her original loyalties. But, a child will defend her mistakes, fib and lie to justify them to herself, while losing critical credibility that Anita seems not to value. Simply a case of a childish "fit of pique", she lacks the msturebcircumspect wisdom to admit that she was wrong. Even when it destroys her own journalistic credibility.

>> In 1992 and 1996 we elected a brilliant president who led this country to its highest potential <<

I'm sorry. I could read no further based on the author's exterme ignorance.

Liberal logic:

1)1992 - Winning presidential candidate gets 43% in a 3-way race = HE HAS A MANDATE TO LEAD A NEW ERA!!!

2) 2000- Winning presidential candidate gets 48% in a 3-way race = HE IS A TYRANT OF THE MINORITY!!!

NEVER try to use common-sense when explaining things to liberals.

You mean to say we elected another president besides Klinton in '92 and '96??? Why didn't that guy get more press and why didn't he get to live in the White House?? <"">

The British kicked Churchill out after he got the job done aginst Germany.

We kicked the first Bush out after he got the job done in the Gulf War.

It's thinkable that we will kick out Bush if he get the job done before reelection time.

Hillary vs. W, should be one heck of an election.

What jack ass wrote this idiot piece? The best economy was a lie and as for potential. There was none with the commies in charge. Hillary, Bill And Reno the killer. Just potential for 6000 deaths at the attack of America. Liberals are cry babies and need to shut up!

Kudos to your cable operator! One day, hopefully, FNC will be carried by as many (or more)operators as carry CNN.

I rarely watch CNN because they disgust me, so I was stuck with MSNBC. I can take Brian Williams so much, Chris Matthews not at all and I have CNBC blocked off the tube because of my total disregard and utter disgust for Whorealdo.

I saw the O'Reilly Factor for the first time last night and well as Hannity and Colmes. Colmes is one strange looking dude.

I'm probably going to come into work late tomorrow so I can see E.D Donahey on the tube for the first time. Plus FOX really has some news babes. I'm not familiar with all of them yet, but I'm sure I will be.

Like I said, I'm lovin FOX
