You're calling me "not to bright" when you're the one that made a ridiculous sweeping statement like that!? Tell me how it might have gone differently "were not for PC"? Ok, let's say that they do disdain us for all that. Should we care? And then: "it was the feminization of our country and many of our men that made them think they could get away with it." Where did you get this channel into the terrorists' psyche?

Tony, the senior partners of a law firm have every right in the world to refuse to promote or hire anyone they don't want to promote or hire. Nowhere in the Constitution is Congress given the power to legislate "fairness" in employment practices.

The people who hang out their shingle, and take the risk required in building a firm should never be obliged by any law to hire or promote anyone they don't want to for whatever reason.

I started to list the reasons why PC has gotten us into this mess then realized that it would just take to long to even begin especially since it's been discussed ad infinitum thru out this site since Sept 11th. You either have not been reading out here or ... you're just not to bright.

You're on my playing field now, Greege.

"All these things [the nuclear family, heterosexual identity, birth rates] are on their way out not because of feminism."

Make your case. I dare you. At the heart of feminism is the hatred of all things male, but in its brain is the hatred of capitalism and free enterprise. Feminists mock and discriminate against women who choose to make babies and care for them without the help of the state. Feminists mock masculinity, and are on record as calling the U.S. Marines right wing "extremists" because they prohibit women from sharing the battlefield with them.

Do you think both parents working is a feminist problem? Could it have anything to do with economic necessity?

Poorly asked. "Both parents working" is not a feminist "problem." It is a feminist tenet. Feminists claim to represent all women, but their propaganda describes working mothers as "sacrificing" for their children while ignoring or even penalizing women who stay at home to care for their children. I ask you... who is really sacrificing? The woman who "sticks her kid in daycare" [parlance overheard in the office] or the woman who forgoes the dinners out, the new car, and the vacation so that her kids wil recognize her at the end of the day? Why do these working women, wealthy even by American standards, deserve tax credits and government subsidized daycare while a stay-at-home mom is still saddled with the marriage penalty in her husband's income tax [the marriage penalty relief only applies to dual income couples, check it out].

My 18 month old son has never even needed to have his temperature taken. He still doesn't know what it's like to have the sniffles. To a one, all of my coworkers [I'm talking women here] have taken the max time allowable sick leave to tend to their snot forsaken kids with their ear infections and cold-bugs caught at the "day care" [aka kid storage facility]. How much do you think this is costing in national productivity? Economic necessity my butt. It's socialistic transfer of wealth and nothing more when we are forced to take care of the responsibilities of others, whether we are taxpayers or employers.

"Because some women have cried wolf all claims to gender bias are false?"

Because all claims to gender bias are considered valid, women need never fear being accused of crying wolf. This is the very heart of PC. Feminists are so emboldened, they long ago started going after the young boys... going so far as to prosecute them under adult laws for playground horseplay involving poor innocent little girls.

"Because some small group of feminists are man-hating lesbians then the whole of the group feels that way?"

Yes. But again, your question belies your being poorly informed on the issues. The "small group of lesbians" are the whole of the group. Again, this is the outrage of PC... a small group of bullies has taken over and smothered all attempts at reasonable debate by conservative men and women. Do you think that N.O.W. will let the Independent Women's Forum be heard on women's issues? No. Did a single feminist stand up when Xclinton was accused of sexual harrassment and even rape? [Yes, one single feminist did, and now she's a pariah.]

I'm sorry, GW can't shoot the anti American Jagoffs, the anti Americans at the CIA. They can isolate them and put them into positions of counting paper clips, and remove them from positions of power that can cause problems!

These pink panty left wingers will go under ground and hide until they implode or due something stupid to expose their anti American pink panty brains! Then they can be isolated and made powerless.

This problem is all over our federal government from Interior, USDA, FDA, Treasury, HEW, Justice, FBI, CIA and on down! All of these departments are staffed with career left wingers who really can't be fired!

A friend, the really rare bird a conservative lawyer, said that if we gave all of these employees a mandated early retirement, we would save money in the first year! In spite of the massive early retirement costs, getting qualified people in would immediately cut costs!

You've insulted me twice now. BTW, it's "not toobright." It would seem to me that the burden of proof is on you for the statement you made. I have indeed been "reading out here" and thinking critically about it all. You seem to have bought the party line.

I agree of coarse, but you can deprogram your own children anyway. So you send your children to Conservative Academy USA, while the majority of people sent their's to the Proletariat Self-Asteem Academy chain. You still don't win, unless you have no problem with your children inevitable participation in a bloody revolution.

And how does one go about breaking this feminist stranglehold on education, etc.? I'm all for it but how do we do it? Getting rid of Hillary next time around would help, I'm sure. But how do we stop this madness?

She honestly believes that boys should play with dolls, and that their “supposed preference” for “cops and robbers” or “cowboys and indians” is entirely socially-driven.

Well, Sex on the Brain, the book about the physiological differences between men and women, certainly put the lie to that mirage.
I wish I could remember the author's name, originally she was from the Sacramento CA area.

Oh soooo sorry that I type informally. Now ... as far as your assumption that it is up to me to prove your level of intellegence. Quite frankly, your "level" has been displayed "Ad Nausium" throughout this thread. I'm just commenting on it. AND your distractive ohhhh it's too not to ... just reinforces that you really are not ... well what I said. However, since you feel insulted by me and I was probably wrong to indicate to you what I thought, I won't say it again. However, since I feel that you are obviously so far behind in class (IMO) and what I posted should be intuitively obvious I'm not going to use my time to try to re-educate you. It would be like trying to teach calculus to my cat.

We don't. They're breaking it themselves. It's getting to the point that even liberals are open to the idea of homeschooling and vouchers to ensure that their kids are safe and literate.

Just curious. After bleeding the public schools dry, would the "smaller acedemically superior schools" absorb all the remaining public school students (some 208,000 in Houston alone)? If so, it seems they'd loose their status as "smaller" pretty quick (unless there were a whole bunch of these "acedemically superior schools," which is highly unlikely).

I like that early retirement idea. It's a perfect solution to civil service restrictions on firing bureaucrats. The military is another matter, though. The President is the CiC and can order the chain of command restructuring necessary, but it would take some very good inside knowledge of all the services to get it done right. We'd have to hope that all the real soldiers haven't resigned their commissions in disgust while Clinton was in charge. Probably some good ones who did resign could be asked to accept new commissions.

To really set things right, we need a declaration of war from Congress to get them out of the loop on military matters best left up to the CiC. Congress wants to hang on to power and manage a war by committee and they can't be allowed to do that again the way they did during the Vietnam war.

By breaking up the monopoly of public education with an unlimited voucher program. When parents have a choice most invariably choose better schools and pull their kinds out of the bad ones. This will collapse the influence the NEA have over our educational system and FINALLY make them accountable for their subversive agenda. Few issues are this clear and a well articulated position by the administration will be readily understood by American voters.

"Political correctness" means adherence to feminist doctrine. The term is alien to America because it originates in the Communist Party. I have demonstrated in previous columns that feminism is a successful "rebranding" of Communism. In this form, it has subverted our minds and our social fabric. Second-wave feminism originated in the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA) and almost all its leading activists were/are Marxists.

This is almost precisely correct, more than most comprehend, except that the source ideology is omitted in the statement/argument. Feminism and political correctness (hitler preferred 'socially correct'), have been intentionally institutionalized by the 'cultural elite'. The idea of using a 'cultural elite' to impose Marxism into western political systems by 'feminizing' and virtually 'demoralizing' traditional western cultural values is a product of the radical Marxist, Antonio Gramsci.

The theme was insideous, as the plan was to morally (and in the end, literally) destroy as many individuals as possible by undermining their values, leaving them broken by divorce, single-parent welfare angst, drugs, alcohol, 'alternate sexuality', sexually transmitted disease, nihilism, apathy, and criminally reactionary violence as we see through the terrorism of the radical environmentalists. The crime and social decay we've witnessed for the past 50 years was intentionally planned, and in many ways, successfully executed by Gramci's Marxist followers through the cultural changes of the 1950's and 1960's.

The history of Gramscian cultural elitism is pivotal, as it's one of the prime reasons that our cultural, political, and moral resolve has weakened and brought us into this global war. Osama bin Laden is reported to have concluded after Somalia, that the US was not only sufficiently weak morally, but the moral weaknesses had worked to all but dissolved our will to fight. His calculations could still prove more true than not, for the long term outcome of the overall situation between our culture, our nation-state, and the rest of the world remains to be seen.

For your etification, a short popular overview of the history and effects of this phenomenon was originally published here at FR in 1998, as ** ORIGINAL SIN **, but has since spread to other publishing fourms. For many, it's HIGHLY recommended reading.
