Senator: Bin Laden Could Be Gone Before Ramadan
Saudi terrorist Osama bin Laden will most likely end up in U.S. hands - dead or alive - within the next 30 days, U.S. Sen. Bob Graham said on Monday.
"I am optimistic that we will be able to accomplish that objective and accomplish it within the next 30 days," said Graham, chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, during a morning meeting with reporters.
Saying his knowledge is based on privileged information, he refused to give any details.

If it is privileged information, why is he talking to reporters? Personally, I'll believe it when I see the carcass.

What purpose does making that statement serve, other than self-gratification for Sen. Graham? "Nyah, nyah, I know something that you don't!"

I say we take Ole Sammy bin Rodham and as many Talatubbies as we can find, chop them into bite sized pieces, mix them with some corn and molasses, and feed them to hogs. Then, since no one would wish to eat the hogs, we run them off a cliff just like Jesus did in days of yore whenever He stashed unwanted demons inside little piggies.

What purpose does making that statement serve, other than self-gratification for Sen. Graham? "Nyah, nyah, I know something that you don't!" My thoughts exactly! When I first read this, I thought I was reading a statement from Phil Gramm. I guess I hadn't had my morning coffee yet and my brain wasn't functioning. I could hardly believe it! Than when I realized it was Bob Graham who was the subject of the report, it made sense. I certainly could never imagine Phil Gramm spilling the beans like this. Bob Graham should be ashamed of himself.

I hope "privileged" does not equal "Classified". But if it does, I hope GW goes after him regardless of his party affiliation!

Make no mistake about it....Senator Graham of FLORIDA is playing dirty politics. He's intentionally upping the expectations ante. In 30 days, or maybe sooner, Graham will be in front of the cameras again...to lead the "bash Bush" chorus. Oh, he will be subtle and sly, but the intent will be clear.

Something tells me Bin Laden is already gone. It's just not the right time to announce it yet.
If true, I have no problem with that. Announcing it now may cause some of the weaker members of the "coalition" to start whining that we should stop the bombing. Not to mention the peacenicks here in America. Let's destroy the Taliban completely and then announce Bin-Laden's demise.
To: Blueflag
Actually, I think I'd prefer it if we never heard about what happened to Bin Laden.
You know, he just "disappears" and the President just quits talking about him, and we move on to other terrorists. Oh, I suppose that the truth can ooze out in about 3 years that he's been dead all this time. By then, his value as a "martyr" will be significantly diminshed.

Will the demoncraps get the BSA stamped out before Bin Lad is stamped out? Real spine tingler here, stay tuned, stay on the edge of your chair. It may be close.

You took my reply!!! Actually, these guys like the sound of their own voices. I'm tired of listening to them play the guessing game as though they know something when most of the time just the opposite is true. I wish they would either tell it like it is or just shut up! Waiting for *breaking news* only to find the *news* is conjecture bugs the H out of me.

To Hell with Ramadan.
I'm sick of referencing everything to the enemy's twisted culture and religion.
I vote for 10/27/01. Theodore Roosevelt's Birthday.
We've been walking softly. It's way past time for THE BIG STICK!

Something tells me Bin Laden is already gone. It's just not the right time to announce it yet. I've had the same suspicion. My only hope is that we are able to positively confirm he is dead when it's all over. I'd rather give them a known martyr than a spectre of a leader.

It's a good thing bin Laden has lots of family. There should be plenty of opportunity to find DNA matches for remaining parts.
To: calmseas
So long as lawyers are running this war, bin Laden will be around for 20 years at least.
