Calls for deportations and sealing the borders are falling on deaf ears. Until there are people protesting in large numbers calling for deportations of foreign nationals, cancellation of visas etc. nothing will happen. Of course, If Trent Lott has his way, they can adjourn, go home, and knit.

Then President Bush can lead us by Executive Order. (I despise the use of the Executive Order as Clinton used it, but if President Bush can use it to make life safer for Americans when Congress isn't able to pick its nose -- then execute those Orders, Mr. President.)

Islam - the religion, the concept of Islamic law - and the structure of how it really works is quite interesting.

Islam is not monolitic religion by any stretch of the imagination - so the 'real' Islam can't really stand up.
Islam is a combination religion slash way of life that while rigid in it's written doctrine, it is exercised by a plethora of 'free agents' who come in the shape of imams, mullahs and clerics - worst of all they ALL think that their application is the TRUE application(notice I did not say INTERPRETATION) of the Koran and the Sunna. Islam is a rigid literal religion and an even more rigid body of law with a circular ability to sustain itself by it's non-monolitic construction.

This is precisely what makes this war so dangerous. This kind of enemy with this kind of idealogy based on this kind of religious dogma.

We need to illuminate how much Bull S#@!* is floating around the media today on Islam 101.
