Much of what that comic strip says about Allah's origins is true. However, Christians and Jews have similar backgrounds to their myths. For example, Moses origin story is no different than others in the area(can't remember if it's Hammurabi or Sargon). Gilgamesh's flood story predates the Bible. Easter is a Pagan holiday. December 25th is Mithra's birthday. Mithra was the savior-god, also known as "the Shepherd," worshipped by many Romans and Zoroastrians.

The fact is, the historical and cultural record shows the backgrounds to all the living mythologies, and Muslim apologetics often advance and quote agnostic/atheist sources when it suits their attacks on Christianity. Christians will use information, often from the same intellectual sector, to advance their anti- Muslim propaganda.

Do I prefer Judaism and Christianity in their current form to Islam? Yes. Are they the Truth? No.
