FReeper Jeff Head Publishes
'Dragon's Fury -- Breath of Fire'
a Suspense Novel about World War III

[Click above for the Official Web Site]

[Click the small book covers above for a brief synopsis of each of the next four novels]

(First of all, thank you, Jim Robinson, for allowing the announcement of a FReeper-authored book to be posted on the site.  Yet another example of Jim's support for all of our efforts to champion the cause of liberty.)

Several FReepers (who may be too modest to desire attention on this particular thread, but who are mentioned in the 'acknowledgments' section of the book) were intimately involved with Jeff in the authoring/editing process.

Here's the thread on the novel I told you about on the thread regarding China and the Taliban.

Here's what some of the first readers are having to say.

On the China/Taliban thread you responded to me and wrote:
I am ordering a copy today! Thanks for the heads up! I am sending the site to my email list too! Many military friends - including son will be very interested! May the LORD God of Israel bless you, enlarge your ministry, bring forth His Word from you and keep you from all evil.
Thank you for those very kind words and that prayer and blessing. May He do the same for you and yours.

Thank you also for the order and for "spreading the word". A book with a messgae such as this has a tough time with the established "publication houses" and will have to make a name for itstelf before even the larger conservative houses will take it on.

Please ask those that you pass it on to to do the same if they are so inclined, so that the email chains spread the word on this book.

Again, thanks and God's best to you and yours.

Thought I'd pass on an update.

Got the ISBN numbers today ... they weren't cheap. In fact, I am finding that alot of this stuff is not cheap ... but we're pressing forward all the same.

The ISBN's will allow me to have deals with Amazon and Barnes and Nobles for the printed books and hopefully for the Ebooks too (for that I am having to get outfitted to do Adobe and MicroSoft Ebook creation ... more bucks) by the end of next week.

Getting some good feedback from those reading the book. Several have already finished. I put a page containing the comments on the site, and will update it as I have more.

Review Comments from Readers

Also, should have SierraTimes promoting the book by the weekend. After that, I hope to get the EtherZone and KABA to do the same.

FRegards

You had to BUY them? I had assumed they were automatically assigned. Shows you how much *I* know.

Same here. That's what I thought. You get ten for $225.00 + processing. Then, every version of your book has to have one. I will have three versions of the EBook (Activ EBook, Adobe and MicroSoft) and each version has to have a different number. Trade Paperback, Regular paperback and Hardback all get a separate number. It's quite the system.

But, Amazon and others require it so you have to have it pretty much.

Oh well, welcome to another world.

Hope to get similar activity from KABA nad EtherZone too.

I thought I would respond to you here on the second thread, since it is a little shorter.

Thanks! I hope you get a chance to look at the site and decide to read the book.

Let me know what you think. I am getting some really good quotes now from people who have read it ... quotes from readers.

Regards.

Yes! Yes, I want to buy your book. Consider the check in the the mail. I hate to gush, but I'm a "fan" of sorts. I've surfed your web site and followed your work in Klamath Falls and elsewhere. I was actually honored to see a reply from you in my self-search, since I'm a bit of a newbie (long time lurker, though). An autographed copy would be great, if possible. I wish you the best. I won't say, "Good luck," because luck has nothing to do with it. You work hard, and deserve to reap the rewards that come to "lucky" folks like you. OK, you can now push the gush abuse button, and have this post deleted.

Wouldn't think of having it deleted!

And, I'll be happy to sign a book ... though as I have told others requesting this, I don't know what it can possibly add ... but I'll be happy to accomodate.

Hope you enjoy the read and that it is thought provoking.

Best regards.

Did not know if you had seen this new "project" of mine. If not, I would be interested in your take and comments.

Dragon's Fury - Breath of Fire: A Novel on the coming Third World War

Saw your reply on the Censored thread. Well said.

I am still thinking about any post on that thread I would make. Will probably just sit on the sidelines and lurk and see where it goes. It promises to be the longest thread on FR IMHO. I am glad Jim posted it, and the fact that he named it what he did is inidicative that he recognizes there is a real problem.

Again, hope you get to review the site and look forward to your comments.

Hope all is well with you and yours. We are living in momentous and very dangerous times. I am proud to know individuals like yourself all over this country ... it leaves me secure in the knowledge that, whatever the cost, we will retain our constitutional Republic and the unalienable rights it was meant to protect.

Regards.

Thanks ... but, as you know, riches won't solve my or anyone else's problems. I would like to have a comfortable life for my wife and kids and so I will not throw any proceeds away.

But most of all, I want them (the kids) to grow up free ... the same for my grandkids (of which I have one now).

I wrote the book to try and send a message regarding what it takes to retain that freedom, a message that will continue throughout the series. I wanted to do it in a fictional environment where the reader could also get some entertainment and engrossment out of the message.

We'll see. Thanks for the BUMP and the well wishes. I hope the same for you and yours.

I figured this would be of interest to you Trav when you got your book ready to go. Let me know and I'll help stear you through the mine fields ... once you figure it out, it's not all that bad, but there are things, particularly in MSWord (if you are writing in that) that you'll want to account for as you are writing. I have spent beaucoup hours reformatting and getting things all tidied up so the book would turn out right for these EBook readers.

Regards.

Are you writing it in a word processor? I am presuming you are.

If it is Microsoft Word, there are things you can be doing now (that I didn't do) that will make a difference when it comes time to out put to PDF for the Acrobat reader (or for press) and to the Microsoft reader.

It has cost me almost two weeks once the 450+ pages were done going back and reformatting and finding all of the instances so that these formats would turnout properly.

I'll FRemail you with some suggestions if you are using MSWord.

Good luck ... I believe what you had written to date that I had read could still be applicable ... particularly with what I consider to be the headlong rush into anti-terror bills that are much, much more than what is needed. The President, the DOJ, the AG and all of the LEA's already have everything they need to address the current issues.

Instead of using them to forcefully go after the terrorists and the infiltrators, they are passing legislation empowering them to keep a MUCH more careful watch and control on all of us IMHO.

Anyhow, let me know if I can help in any way.

Regards.

Thanks, I'll let's talk later.

Look forward to your comments.

The MSWord and Adobe EBook formats look good. Each has its own ISBN.

I am talking to Amazon and Barnes and Nobles (via emails) about getting them on those sites.
