Fox reports Special Operations engagement underway south of Kandahar as we speak, citing Pentagon officials. Said target is the 55th Brigade, which is an al Qaeda force working for the Taliban. Said extensive use was made earlier of AC-130 (Puff the Magic Dragon), so they're probably largely counting bodies.

Yup. We've already run through 2-3 threads about this action. I'm happy. The 55th Brigade is the most ardent supporters from a number of different countries. The C-130's are chewing up the best of their best. Gotta love it.

If the 55th is near Kandahar, that is probably a good indication that Osama is around there as well. BTW, is Kandahar where they have those caves that Osama is supposed to be hiding in.
