Hey no-meat-eaters-on-Fridays-during-Lent!
There are a ton of us Catholic Freepers out there, this is our little thread in the big big world. This is just my way of attempting to get to know people just like me.
A few links I enjoy:
www.vatican.va - the Holiest Web Site on Earth
www.scripturecatholic.com - providing Scripture references to support the teachings of the faith
And lastly, I post a joke I once heard on Free Republic:
What is the difference between a Catholic and a Protestant? Catholics wave to each other in the liqour store.
The Neverending Story Thread
Poland: Still the World's Most Catholic Country
Canadian Cable TV offers homosexual channel, not EWTN

Well let me join the caucus. Born Catholic, raised and living Catholic and I'll die a faithful son of Holy Mother Church. Attended The Catholic University of America and am a Past Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus. Any Brother Knights out there?

Thanks for the thread--a good idea whose time has come. More fun to watch Catholics slaughter each other over the place of Latin than to watch conservatives foam at the mouth over Clinton, anyway. I have pinged Lazamataz because he is part of our antecedent tradition--and will, if he's motivated, add some good-natured ribbing (certainly NOT pork ribs.) Keep me informed.

Was away since last Thursday...just got back from Ocean City MD (St Luke's there had a 40 hours with Adoration, Benedictine priest from ???, what a great way to spend some time while getting away from it all!)
Thanks for the bump. Defintely proud2brc here!
To: JMJ333
Well, well, it's about time. On the other hand, a day without a little UN bashing is like a day without sunshine.
Is Campion onto this thread?

I don't think we've ever had such a thread ... interesting.
Mad Dawg ... I've taken over the website for my parish as well. Happy to trade links with you!
(Romulus, of course, is the kindly parishioner who gave me a huge head start.)
