I knew I had read about this somewhere. Turns out it was right here on FR! Here is a link to a discussion about it, for those who are interested, so you can draw your own conclusions (warning, long thread):
Charismatics Have Highest Levels of 'Biblical Accuracy'
Reply #18 has the details of the study.
I'm curious about the question "Is Satan real?" The study claims that only 17% of Catholics believe this is true. It lists Baptists at 34%. The highest are the Mormons (!) at 59%. What do all you TNSers believe about Satan? Is he real? What is his nature? What power does have really have?

Yes, and he post here under the name of... well I won't go into to that now. :)

Thanks for doing the legwork, angelo. I knew that thread was out there, but I just didn't want to go diggin for it.
I believe Satan is real. His nature is sin. He's the ruler of this world and does his best to tempt us into becoming of this world. His powers, however, fall way short of the power of God and he will never overcome that.
Satan is a being created by God imperfect and lacking. He is the disciple of void/emptiness/nothing/evil, and strives against The Perfect, The Whole, The All. He is not anywhere near equal to God, but he is not pure evil either. Evil is anything laking, and away from God. Satan fights against that which IS, but he is not complete nothing himself. Satan was the first to turn away from God and thus he is evil, but not the creator of evil. Evil can't be created because it is not of God and God made all things. Evil is anything not of God, thus Evil is void. God "IS", evil is "not". But, Satan himself is not pure Evil, because he was created.
