The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.
Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |

Too bad, it is so much fun to beat up on another NC once in a while just to show we are a non discriminating bunch of fellows, and an equal opportunity basher. Why do we need to do that? They never do. Its like the republicans are always trying to show the democrats that they're not so bad after all. They usually do it with compromise. :-)

Why do we need to do that? They never do.Not true. I've been "corrected" a few times and I've seen others get the same treatment. It may not be "jumping on," but then ... we're the more civil side of this neverending story. ;o)

I'll tell you guys what. Next time some Catholic tries to rewrite history and the Greek language I'll be the first in line to give 'em a talking to. On the other hand, if you would rather rally 'round woodkirk as one of "your own," you can have him. I appreciate all of my fellow Christians who are not afraid of truth.

Now do start with me.... :)

Exactly. Just last week, Wordsmith was feeling defensive because of something allend said, and I told him that allend was not to be taken too seriously here. That's got to count for something.

I appreciate all of my fellow Christians who are not afraid of truth. He's not trying to re-write anything. He's using a secondary definition. I wouln't do it but hey I've made plenty of mistakes myself. And yes. I'm still claimin' him as "our own".

Now do start with me.... :)I see you don't have a good grasp of the English language. Maybe you spend too much time studying Aramaic and Hebrew and ignore the basics like English and Greek. You oughta be embarrassed and should immediately be excommunicated!
Is that more like it Steven?
