I am New to the Free Republic and I am glad I found this site. I have been checking this site for news for the past few weeks and I am impressed with the news and info I receive. I turn on the puter at work and watch your updates all day. The news and insight you people have is most comforting. Keep up the great work!!

I'm new too. Maybe 2-3 weeks? I used to be posting on a board that was about 1/2 liberals & 1/2 conservatives. Some idiotic political comments from the former faction got me started corresponding privately with a couple of the conservatives. One of them turned the other 2 of us onto Free Republic. Thank God! And thanks to all of you!
