Crime always seems to go down after a massive law-abiding civilian purchase of guns. Crime always seems to go up when roadblocks are added to the law-abiding civilian purchase of guns. The theory of mutually assured destruction is pure logic. Why would someone commit a crime against me if they know there is a high probability that I am armed and I can kill them? It makes us safer and it reduces crime, simple logic and backed up by real statistics.
