Re: the number of nukes on your second comment. Rest easy, there less than 100 targets of any meaning in the M.E.
Even with our 80% reduction in warheads (which can be reversed), that still leaves nearly all forces intact.
Plenty to have a healthy response to PRC. Russia if need be, but I don't think we'll have trouble there.

Depending on what Bush is doing unknown to the average person to rebuild our defenses . . . renewing or adding to nukes could take time we may not have when things begin to more rapidly escalate. . .
Sounds like those prayers for wisdom and wise actions need to be redoubled.
