[history]
MIAMI - Federal investigators believe they have traced "unique characteristics" of the anthrax that killed a Lantana man to a strain harvested at an Iowa facility in the 1950s, according to law enforcement sources.
But the sources caution that final results of tests to confirm the match are not yet finished.

Iowa. Hmmm...
One group of terrorists thought to be planning something against Chicago were "detained" in Iowa a couple weeks ago.
Wonder if there IS a connection?

very interesting

The really interesting tidbit here is that the Florida terrorists had subscriptions to the gossip mag. Who subscribes to these things? Anyone with a brain? The circumstantial evidence is becoming convincing to me that they are the ones.

Anthrax strains are kept at Los Alamos National Labs? The same labs that were security sieves during CLintoon? The same labs that were abandoned during the forest fires in 2000?
Sorry, folks, this is ringing off alarm bells big time in my head!

If it takes two weeks for results to come back "because of the volume of material" in a case where, so far, only person died... imagine the chaos that will result if a mass-death from this stuff happens. The authorities will be paralyzed. The nation will be in a panic.
Get these people out of our country.

The Enquirer, as opposed to the slew of other tabloids coming out of Boca Raton, actually is quite accurate and frequently scoops the mainline media. What people don't understand is that the terrorists targeted the newspaper because of it's unflinching past criticism of garbage bin Laden. They will be seeking out anyone or any organization that is outspoken against binny.
By snuffing out the spokespeople we regularly turn to, they desire to further panic many by upsetting their sense of normalcy. Look at the Enquirer, totally outspoken against garbage bin. See it on the newstands this week? They were outspoken and they are gone for now.

Investigators say the anthrax strain can be traced to the Iowa facility, but that the specific version of the bacteria may have been widely distributed to researchers. They declined to identify the facility.Don't tell me another Clintoon administration "insider"?

Subscribe to a tabloid? Never even heard of an American doing that. It's a huge clue that Osama has directed WMD against Americans.
If we can verify, it means we now are fully justified in nuking his bunker with THIS WEAPON

In the name of the Revolutionary Council of Indiana I hereby declare jihad against the infidels of Iowa. We've long suspected this kind of connection would surface. For too long we've allowed the ethnic Dutch of Iowa to flourish at the expense of ethnic German and Scots in the rest of the Midwest. This will not stand.
Death to the Iowa Infidels!!!

Your point is well taken. Together with the subscription, it provides an even more damning connection to the hijackers. I cannot believe the sentiment that this may not mean anything. Sheesh! Now we wait until the anthrax is traced to its true source.

Clinton connection? I doubt it. The article says that a
"specific version of the bacteria may have been widely distributed to researchers" so it could have been one of the 'researchers' compromising the US - and who knows how long ago that could have been - or how recent.
Why would a particular type of anthrax be so widely distributed to researchers? Could it be because it isn't that dangerous; because it's very dangerous; because it had to do with livestock....?
btw, I was just reading about how Nixon ended offensive bioweapon research in 1969 - just an fyi for anyone who is interested.

My paranoia is in overdrive, so I'll apologize in advance while cutting out the tinfoil for a brand new beanie...
I have a copy of the Inquirer laying on the kitchen counter with the last picture of Gary Condidit on the front. This issue received wide circulation previous to the events of 9-11. Coincidentally, it was dated September 11, 2001.
I'm seriously considering contacting CDC and closing off the kitchen till I hear from them. Y'all can start laughing now...(Gulp)

I was only snidely referring to the infamous lax security at a certain government facility which Clinton and Reno never corrected.

I would'nt. My impression is that it takes a lot of the spores to make you sick, and the chance that there are any on your paper seems extremely small. I read that they print them in another facility. Im sure CDC is swamped with scared calls. It's understandable, and shows the plot is working.

The place in Florida does not print materials. They only do the layout work and run the business. Your issue was probably printed in Chicago. Someone posted a list here of a bunch of printers who do the printing work for Enquirer and other tabloids.
If that doesn't help, call your local supermarket and ask them where your copy was printed. They probably know or can tell you which distribution company to call.
Don't worry. Focus your energy on defeating Harkin on his next run.

I actually watched Giraldo for a few minutes last night - he led off with this.
I self-diagnosed myself as sick - but I don't think the doctor will understand the symptom (watching Geraldo).
