Editorial Reviews
The New American magazine, July 5, 1999 Communist and socialist elements within a parliament initiate "policies and legislation which strengthen the hand of grassroots revolutionaries." They also connive to punish those who oppose the planned coup. "Meanwhile, grassroots revolutionaries whip up the appearance of popular support" for the revolutionary agenda "through strikes, rallies, petitions, threats, and - sometimes - sabotage. The 'pressure from below' by the small number of revolutionaries and their larger number of dupes is then used to 'justify' the centralization of power in the hands of the executive branch of the state. Wishy-washy politicians are intimidated, and the 'pressure from above' intensifies.
Each legislative victory results in new demands for even stronger legislation, which is relentlessly pursued by communists and their dupes in parliament - who claim that they are acting in the name of the popular will. The cycle continues until opposition is completely powerless, intimidated, or liq! uidated - and the revolution is a fait accompli."
Book Description
Jan Kozak explains how the people of Czechoslovakia were manipulated into voting themselves into slavery. Through targeted mass agitation, a free government was transformed into a totalitarian dictatorship -- legally! Today more than ever, the revolutionary methods described by Kozak are being targeted against American liberties.
The above site keeps their eye on this very topic. I highly recommend this site. I am under the understanding that, the Admins are a FReepers too.
Russia has recently built a new missile that can sneak past our anti defense missiles. But know this, the Russian lie early and often. Early in the Cold War, we thought they had more deliverable nukes then they actually had. If I remember correctly, they only had four that may have hit their mark, but they told us they had many more then that. BTW, their missiles were not accurate and that is why they built big nukes (more megatonage).
anti missile defense, I should say.
We don't want anti defense missiles :-)
i'm convinced there are more Communists in Berkeley than in Russia.
of course, that doesn't mean there aren't evil Russian Nationalists in Russia who want to conquer the West and impose the Russian Orthodox faith by sword on the heathen masses...
as for the USSR going underground and faking capitalism, thats *great*. "fake it 'till you make it"

Thanks for the link DTD, I will check out that website.
Thanks for linking to this “oldie but goodie” article Granny at the Terrorism Watch thread.
I find it immensely interesting to read back through this 6 years later and see that some are still keeping their heads in the sand when it comes to Russia. At least there are a few who realize what’s at stake here.
Me, too. I tend to believe much of this and I know that Russia and China are NOT our friends, no matter what our government says or thinks. They are dangerous foes.

Inordinate Fear?
November 07, 2007
By Randall Hoven
An examination of our historical inordinate fear of communism might
shed some light on what some consider our new inordinate fear of
terrorism. We are now in the middle of the Global War on Terror (or
whatever you care to call it), so it is difficult to assess our
situation. Will terrorists obtain nuclear weapons and use them on us?
Or will we sink into continual warfare with a phantom enemy, while
losing the very civil rights we claim to fight for?
Communism, however, offers us the benefit of hindsight. Were we right
to fear, and fight, communism? Some say no.
Nope, nothing to fear here sheeple. Now move along before you we draw a crowd. /sac
Keep up the good work!
The American Thinker had several more today, that were worth reading.
So much to read and post and so little time.
:-)
Thanks, I will check it out.
Sleep on.
The author has entirely too much time on his hands and a vivid imagination.
