Thousands of Arab militants, unable to return to their homelands where they are considered enemies of the state, will choose to fight to the death against the U.S.-led offensive

They say that like it's a bad thing...
Their wish should be our command. Let's give them all the assitance we can in the achievement of this goal.
And shall our military accommodate them? YES! Directly to Allah.
I pray for thier souls. Poor mis-guided men. It is not that I want to kill you, but I must. Because it is either you, or my son. I love you my brother. But you hate me. Not for what I have done, but for what I am. You will not win. God bless America!

Dear Mama,
Well, it's been twenty years now and the great Satan is still pounding our heads.
I don't know ... maybe this gee-it's-hard thing ain't what it's cracked up to be. All we do is live in caves, sit on rocks, listen to Sammy tell us what a great force we are and eat lizards.
Lizards ... breakfast, lunch and dinner ... lizards.
Could you send me some of your chipati's when you get a chance? I don't know if they'll get through this time either, but at least try. We're all starving to death.
Just yesterday we had to pack up and leave the best cave we've ever lived in because of all of the bombing. It drives me crazy. All I want to do is die.
Well, not much more to write about.
OK, let's roll.....let 'em die.
If they went to Afganistan "two decades ago" how in the world could the US be their primary enemy? Me thinks the reporter forgot about a country called the Soviet Union.
Their existance is sumed up by a bumper sticker: "Life's a Beach. Then you die."
The more things change, the more things remain the same. Our "vaunted" press continues to portray every sworn enemy of this country as 'heroic'. Recall all the media bluster/propaganda/swill about the supposed 'invincibility' of Saddam's 'battle-hardened' army.
"Saddam's soldiers will fight to the death -- 10,000 Americans will return in body bags the first week of the war", was typical of the "thinking" among the know-nothing "experts".
During the sixth week of operation Desert Storm, Saddam's 'brave' soldiers were surrendering to reporters.
So much for that.
I really like seeing Arab and death in the same sentence. I hope the USA can help them accomplish their goal.
So whose fault is it that they can't go home?
