...And by the way...I find these 'peace' activists to be un-American and just plain STUPID.
If it's their mother/grandmother/etc who's NEXT, because we decide to bend over and hold up the peace sign then they WILL be singing a different tune.

The good soldier hopes never to have to go to war, but is more than prepared when the time comes. It's not classical warmongerism to recognize that a duty has got to be fulfilled. On the other hand, it's is a denial of reality to to state that peace is the only option. I'll stand with you any time on this, but I do not relish our having to kill other humans. It's a sad day when it comes to that, but we go forward in the hope that the leaders of terrorism will die quickly and the hostilities be completed ASAP.
Don't get me wrong. I do not hang my head in that we must kill. Kill we must. Kill with swift violent devistation we must. Total inialation of the adversary is the only road to peace. Too bad it had to come to this.

I'm a peacemonger... peace through superior firepower.

I know I'm a warmonger...my wife just told me so. She also said I'm not a good Christian. She thinks that we should retaliate but we should all act like we're sad about it. I called her a hypocrite. I'm sleeping on the couch tonight.

I like the piece, but I have to admit the first thing I thought was, I wish I had this guy's job. How many words long is that article, 125? I could have banged that out in five minutes.

Words mean things.
Warmonger: One who advocates or attempts to stir up war.
Osama bin Laden is a warmonger. The US is not the party that tried to stir up a war. The war was brought to us, imposed on us, declared on us. We finally reached the point where we could no longer ignore it. We were slow to anger, but the time has come when we have no choice but to respond by taking the war back to those who perpetrated it in the first place.

They think bin Laden needs to somehow be reasoned with. You know what makes America such a great place to live?
My answer is that if "they" the peaceniks are so convinced that Gangster Terrorists led by Osama Bin Laden, can be reasoned with... the peaceniks are free to go do just that! Have them get their boarding passes, send them to the caves and let them give it the old college try. These "Peaceniks" have no clue of what kind of man Osama is. He doesn't want to be reasoned with, he wants war! Not Peace. He is an evil and wicked man that needs to die. It is only wishful thinking that the peaceniks would go and give it a try, I realize that. But then, I unlike the peaceniks understand the reality and gravity of this situation we have found ourselves in, Thanks to Terrorists. To be a warmonger in the USA is today a good thing, your in good company. Finally, It is more important to fight for what is right, than to protest for peace.

Guess that makes me a nuclear warmonger. Fine. I'll wear that label proudly.

I can't believe they think there's a peaceful way to deal with someone who hurls commercial airliners into city buildings. There is but Neville Chamberlain found out how effective it is.
