He had been hinting for several months that he had some sort of health problem.

What a rotten thing to happen! I truly hope and pray the loss is arrested or reversed somehow.

I tuned in just as he was explaining his predicament. I wish him the best. My prediction is that he will become the Beethoven of Talk Radio, a virtuoso in his own right.
My other prediction is that Bill Maher will joke about it - I'm not kidding, that type of humor is his sick specialty.

I would tend to doubt brain cancer because of the bilateral involvement, and lack of other symptoms.

Rush,
Hoping for your recovery. You've been an inspiration to us. God bless.

Rush has taken so many knocks over the years, if there's a way - he'll find it, and for sure he'll keep his website active. The man's a brick. Hugs.

With such an attitude you really don't belong here. Go away.

Brain Cancer??? that would be easier to diagnose - CTs and MRIs could find one likity split. The innear ear and the electro-chemical mechanisms are still baffling.
Rush is as solid as they get and I have no doubt that we will benefit from his sage wisdom for many years.
and enough of the What!!?!?? although it is a funny response.

Rush brought this old fart to tears this morning.
He is handling this with all the dignity befitting a great man for our times.
My prayers are with Rush and his family.

God bless you Rush. What I don't understand is why he sounds so great today if his hearing is getting worse. He sounds like his old self.

Both my wife and I owe our confidence in conversatism to Rush. He needs to keep going whatever the ailment.
Hang in there buddy....
To: SlickWillard
I only occasionally listen to his show, usually just for a few minutes while driving. Wasn't he recently making fun of the people who have been commenting about his voice, suggesting that there was something wrong with their radios, and that they should purchase a Bose? I wish him well anyway.

See my post #79 re cochlear implants Rush mentioned.

People have been saying this for months -- that he sounds like there's an illness -- stroke, etc.
To: SlickWillard
Well, if anyone could handle something like this well, it'd be Rush Limbaugh. And as someone here has already posted, the power of prayer to help and heal is amazing. From this day on, a whole lotta people are going to be praying for Rush.

Rush, I am a young conservative in good part because of you. I've been listening as much as possible since the early '90s. You've done a lot for America and I am truly greatful for everything you've done. I wish you many years of happiness. CACTMH
