Rush just did a Clinton impersonation. He said he hoped it sounded all right, because he was doing it from memory.
It sounded great -- it was hilarious!

Sounds very strange...wonder if it could be a form of a bio-weapon attack?

Ma just told me...I love Rush and I will pray for him. This has really touched me.

So tragic, but his tone is so positive, says he will find a way to continue the show. He said that last week he was rehearsing ways to work around the deafness.Good. I'd rather he stays. He is the Conservative Rock of Gibralter. Please stay and work hard, Rush!

I don't listen to the radio much. I used to watch Rush on TV and was sad to see him leave television.
David Limbaugh I read all the time. He's one of my favorites.
I am very sad to hear about Rush, though.

I have been listening to Rush since before the Persian Gulf War. I remember all his greatest hits. I have found ways to listen to the show even when my various bosses did not permit it.
God Bless you, Rush!!!
My prayers are with you

I went deaf in my right ear about 3 years ago. Sounded like a freight train coming at me for about 20 seconds and then nothing. ENT doc told me it was "Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss" and it was permanent. Been deaf in that ear ever since.
The worst part of it was all the SOUND bombarding my left ear. My brain took a long time learning to sort out all the sounds coming into just one ear. I couldn't focus on one thing, like the tv or someone talking without all the other sounds getting in the way, like the a/c blowing or cars driving by. I'm alright now, but still not the same. Too much racket gets on my nerves.
I feel bad for Rush, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Geez, I feel just awful for Rush. It just goes to show that being wealthy does not necessarily guarantee you can take care of all health issues.
I hope he continues with his show.

Vicodin useage can cause deafnessOnly if you jam them into your ears. Opiates do not cause hearing loss.

With your "lol" comment, you've just demonstrated that you are a complete (_o_), buttbreath.

Speaking of annoying voices, G. Gordon Liddy has a thin tinny voice, and he has a show that's relatively successful. We can overlook the voice, if the message is still there!
If he is brave enough to continue to speak, I will continue to listen. In fact, I'll even sign up for his newsletter.

You've always been obsolete. F*** off.

If any person outside of my parents is responsible for convincing me to be a conservative, it is Rush Limbaugh. He shall be in my prayers.
Unfortunately, I can't listen to his show today. Did he say if the deafness is localized to his left ear, or will he lose hearing in both?
To: Terrorista Nada
Mike Savage made Rush obsolete years ago anyway. Savage is very good, but give me a break. Savage has spent almost all of the last few weeks wondering why we haven't struck and worrying that nothing would happen. It got real old. It was the first time in the few months he's been on in this market I couldn't stand to listen to him.
To: SlickWillard
In the past 16+ years I've listened to Rush he has at times come out with a completely outrageous statement to make a point. I have no clue why he would perpetrate this kind of a hoax on his listeners but he's done it before. Please don't flame me but I think something is going on. I've listened to Rush since his early days here in Sacramento so if true it is very sad.

This way he cannot hear the naysayers. Remember, too, that Beethoven did his most majestic work after going totally deaf. G-d works in mysterious ways...SSZ
