What a bunch of superstitious nonsense.

Don't waste your time praying to Mary or any other people. They can't hear you.

John.14

[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, (NOT MARY) the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It is a waste of time calling upon Mary. She can't hear you anyway unless they are suggesting that the Word of God is untrue. The dead don't communicate with the living.

Luke 16:19-31

[19] There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

[20] And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

[21] And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

[22] And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

[23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

[24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

[25] But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

[26] And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

[27] Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

[28] For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

[29] Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

[30] And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

[31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

For Christians the mediator betweenus imperfect mortals and God is Jesus. Not Mary or anyone else. To state otherwise calls God a liar.

1Timothy 2:5

[5] For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

For Christians it is the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost who intercedes on our behalf:

Rom.8:26

[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

God cannot lie, but imprefect mortals can lie:

Titus 1:2

[2] In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

I don't see Catholicism as Christian, however it is not my place to evaluate their salvation. I can only point out where Catholicism is in disagreement with the Word of God.

Catholics, do Christians a favor and DON'T pray to Mary or any other imperfect dead mortals. We really need God on our side. We don't want Him pissed off at your superstitious idoltry.

How do you know your bible is the Word of God?
You sound like Osama Bin Landen who is telling the world what the "world of God"
Personally, I will accept the as the World of God what The Word's Church tells us is His Word

So tell me, who founded your religion? Jesus founded the Catholic Church only. You Protestants need to think things through a bit more.

And how is it that Mary was able to tell the world about Russia in 1917 BEFORE the Russian Revolution?

At any rate, we don't pray TO Mary, we ask her to pray FOR us: "...now and at the hour of our death."

Thank you nmh. Your put a little nicer than me. Makes me sick seeing people worship statues, proclaiming the 'Virgin Mary' as equal to christ etc. etc. Man it's just total nonsense and I believe the occultic fasination is demonically inspired to lead people astray from the absolute SIMPLISTIC nature of apolistic christianity. Im sorry, but I have no patience for stupidity.

Let's play "Who said this?"...

"It is a sweet and pious belief that the infusion of Mary's soul was effected without original sin; so that in the very infusion of her soul she was also purified from original sin and adorned with God's gifts, receiving a pure soul infused by God; thus from the first moment she began to live she was free from all sin" (Sermon: "On the Day of the Conception of the Mother of God," 1527).

"She is full of grace, proclaimed to be entirely without sin- something exceedingly great. For God's grace fills her with everything good and makes her devoid of all evil. (Personal {"Little"} Prayer Book, 1522).

"Whoever possesses a good (firm) faith, says the Hail Mary without danger! Whoever is weak in faith can utter no Hail Mary without danger to his salvation. (Sermon, March 11, 1523).

"Our prayer should include the Mother of God . . . What the Hail Mary says is that all glory should be given to God, using these words: "Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus Christ. Amen!" You see that these words are not concerned with prayer but purely with giving praise and honor . . . We can use the Hail Mary as a meditation in which we recite what grace God has given her. Second, we should add a wish that everyone may know and respect her . . . He who has no faith is advised to refrain from saying the Hail Mary. (Personal Prayer Book, 1522).

Well, if you haven't guessed by this point, the answer is Martin Luther......
