October is "Respect Life Month." Today, October 7th, is National Life Chain Sunday. Please check your local parishes, churches, synagogues, mosques and/or your place of worship to see where and when the life chain will be forming in your community today. Join thousands in your community lining sidewalks holding signs and flags opposing the killing of unborn children. Remember, generations depend on saving the life of just ONE CHILD!

I only heard about it via e-mail so I only know about ones in San Jose and Fremont. We move too much in stealth mode and those not in any church are often out of the loop.

My son's unborn baby will be met by his family on Oct. 24th around 9am. He will be welcomed by loving arms lifting him and laying him on his mother's breast. There will be great fanfare outside in the halls when we hear his first triumphant yells at being outside the womb. His name is Joseph Michael, after his father. I am the proud grandma!

BTW, I received my info via e-mail from CA Right To Life (they only mentioned San Jose and Fremont...maybe mine was customised for my region) but there are evidently others elsewhere. 2:30 and 2:00 were the start times respectively.
