He complained that his wife was in Florida and couldn't come home due to the fact that she would be harassed. What is it with Florida and these people?
If they're that afraid for their safety, they should go back to where they came from. Oh, I forgot, it's more fun to stay here to whine about how they're picked on and subvert the country.

It's ok. You're not the target. The church that harbored the enemy is.

Did this guy get out of there in one piece ? Because I tell you in my church he would have gotten his jaw knocked loose...church or no church....we lost 7 parishioners on 9/11.

What is it with Florida and these people?Florida? Well, it seems they'd be happy with their own kind in Palm Beach. They can help count.

Man, virtually all of you are looking at what went on there in entirely the wrong way--the Muslim guy showed himself to be what all the PC folks say is a mistake to believe him to be. In other words, your suspicions of the character of Islam were substantiated in SPADES by this guy and yet you're complaining about it. That is just too rich. Which side are you on anyway?

Get your video quick, before it undergoes PC editing. :)

Did this guy get out of there in one piece ? Because I tell you in my church he would have gotten his jaw knocked loose...church or no church....we lost 7 parishioners on 9/11. All the conservative folks left before he was done me included. My sister and her husband stayed to hear the rest of what the slime had to say. My sister is looking through phone books to find this guy to call him up and B@tch, before she leaves my house. The problem with media is I seriously doubt any of the PC Press out here will report it except maybe the Chicago Tribune. I let FOX know and they are on to it, hopefully, and I will email O'Reilly.

Sounds like Willow Creek is a good candidate for belonging to the NCC, if it doesn't already.

No, you are misunderstanding this. It is not like the pastor stood up and disagreed with the Muslim cleric, and poiinted out the error of his ways. No, this is the same church that gave Bill Clinton a touchy-feely Oprahesque interview so that everyone could understand how bad he felt, even though he didn't do anything wrong and after all it wasn't his fault, anyway.
The pastor was trying to get everyone to be sympathetic the the Muslim, and 5 years ago everyone would have sat in the congregation and listened politely while he made all these asinine comments.
But things have changed, and the PC pulpit is going the way of the dinosaur. I will bet there is a HUGE uproar over this, and I will bet members get a "letter of explanation" with lots of backtracking, although the pastor will say that he FEELS like its important to UNDERSTAND these people. Less than an abject apology and I would be organizing a congregational revolt!!

They appear to have their own
bookstore. I'd guess that's where you'd buy the tape. Their number is (847) 765-6222.
To: Tree of Liberty
I tried calling the bookstore to get a tape but they are closed. I will probably go up tomorrow and ask for a tape, once that happens I will put a recording up on my site and anyone can check it out.

...the Muslim interviewee showed himself to be exactly what all the PC folks have said Muslims are not.
But I think SOME media outlets are getting the idea.
Although it was from England (London?), the picture of the cleric running a fundamentalist
mosque was NOT flattering (see post 25).
And this was on Dateline NBC!
I've tried to keep an open mind on the "Islam: Peace or War" question...
but the longer this drags on, the more I think that War and killing may be
closer to the true hallmark of most of Islam...just as it was in it's inception.

No, I voted for Bush. I can't stand Gore. But W DID have them over for prayer, he DID imply allah is the same God he prays to, he DID visit an Islamic Center (mosque), taking his shoes off. He seems obsessed with making sure not a one of them ever gets offended.

I will probably go up tomorrow and ask for a tape And when you're done with the tape, feel free to ram it up their backside.

Hey Stupid... Allah simply means God in Arabic. Christians in Arabia-- who've been Christians longer than Christians anywhwere else in the world-- call God, Allah, and call Jesus the son of Allah. Kind of like the French call God Dieu, and the Germans call him Gott.
And the goal of every Muslim is not the adoption of Sharia law in the US. Frankly, the sharia is a perversion of the Koran.
As for this dumb s.o.b. in the article who blames the US for terrorism, he deserves a serious beating. He is an embarrassment to our community, and you are right to chastise him.
As for the separation of church and state-- the Koran commands Muslims to obey the laws of the society in which they live

Their hours of operation are on their website (I linked to it in #50).
I'd like to see the video too. Thanks for volunteering to put it on the 'net.

Why is it that we are supposed to be "understanding" towards MUSLIMS and then we are supposed to sit back when they make such ruthless verbal attacks. If there's anyone to blame for this, it's the people who share their own religious philosphy. Granted, Osama and crew have distorted it; but how about some sympathy towards fellow Americans?

As for the separation of church and state-- the Koran commands Muslims to obey the laws of the society in which they live That's really rich. Although you have only been with FR since Sept.14, 2001, surely you have figured out that most of us don't buy that line.
Koran, Haddith, ayatollahs, mullahs, imams, Wahhabis, and all of it added together equals a pack of lies dressed in hell-fire.

Thank you for bringing up
The Fourth Turning.
Everyone of us would benefit from reading it again -- or for the first time.
