Herb was a soul brother to me. I encouraged him to try for a job at Americans for Fair Taxation a few months ago, because I knew he would be a terrific NRST motivator over the Internet.
He told me a few weeks after he got the job that "I can't believe this! I am doing what I have been doing for FREE FOR the past three years, and they are PAYING ME MORE THAN I ASKED FOR!"
I know that he was just beginning to move into his prime advocacy and motivational effort for the Fair Tax, and I can also tell you that we have a pair of huge moccasins to fill!
Belinda told me this afternoon that he was as happy as she had ever seen him, that his health was better than ever, that he really loved his work, and, then, this happened!
Words fail me at this point. I was going to use my SouthWest Airline tickets to fly to Houston to play golf, drink beer, and eat BBQ with the CHIEF, Belinda and a bunch of Real Americans.
Now I have to use them to go bury him. Whoever did this to Herb and the rest of us is gonna pay, and pay big time! They are gonna eat the big one!
If you are out there, a$$hole, you are mine! And I really doubt if I will be first in line!
Sorry for the rant. What you are reading is not even 5% of what is on my mind and in my heart!
It's very devastating, but there really are punks out there who have no respect for life. I suspect the Chief "angered" one of these types, and it was a another useless murder. I don't know what else to say. It's like the WTC - it's senseless and horrible.
I'm contributing to Mrs. Chief now.

So sad.
There are ~70,000 of us shoulder-to-shoulder with you.
Do it to one of us, you do it to all of us. And there are many of us, in many places.

My heart goes out to CHIEF's family and to you, Taxman. May God give CHIEF's family and friends strength to carry on. I am so very sorrowful and hurt that there is such evil in the world and that so many people have to suffer needlessly. This is terrible.
I want in that line. I am so P*SSEDN OFF.
