rubble of the collapsed buildings in New York, Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2001...
Firefighters, police, and construction workers join in a ceremony, Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at Ground Zero in New York, blessing a cross of steel beams found by a laborer amid the World Trade Center debris two days after the twin tower collapsed. The cross was moved to its present location Wednesday.
Apparently of steel beams was found by a laborer amid the World Trade Center debris two days after the twin tower collapsed. The fire fighter have been very inspiried by this.

What does that mean? Are you saying it's a sign of God about to do something? Why didn't he just have the murdering terrorists die before they got the chance? Are you saying God is not proactive, merely reactive? I actually wasn't saying anything about this particular cross, which may or may not be a freak thing. I simply was pointing out that the cross (in general, but including this one) is a reminder of the most significant event in human history.

Most significant event in history? I live in NY but I'm not sure I'd go along with that appraisal. There are quite a few others and there may be some that are more significant in the coming years, or maybe even weeks.
