When Israel gives its Christian minority the same legal equality that the Jewish minorities have in Christian countries I may change my mind about Israel.

When Israel gives Arabs the same equality that blacks get in white majority coutries then I may change my mind about Israel.

I don't believe there is anything Israel could do, except walk into the gas chambers, which would meet with your approval. Your BS slander, notwithstanding.

I think appeasing Muslim states that wish to eradicate Israel is unacceptable.

How sad this is even an issue...

Just because I want you so much on the Israeli side please tell me what Israel would need to do to fulfil your wishes.

Were you out jogging with Chelsea?

No, I was trying to help terrified people who were streaming towards my office area as best I could (providing water, wiping blood off womens faces, letting countless people make use of our telephones, wrapping bloody feet in cloth napkins).

I did what I could and wish I could've done more.

Hi Benjie. You guys seem to be in quite a stir since Bush hasn't done your bidding. Turning on him just like you did his dad. Patriotism and loyalty to our president seem to stop quite quickly once things don't go Israel's way.

actually, reason and common sense are my partners, which is why i see america learning the hard lessons of dealing with terrorist murderers. ararat and everyone else that support, train and cheer on these murderers should be eliminated, and anyone that stands up should have their heads blown off. or is thousands dead on american soil just an appetizer for you?

Your way wrong. Bush powell remsfield are cowards. They fear the reaction of the ragheads should we do what is right. Terrorist do not exist in a vacum. They are supported by the very countries the bush admin now courts. This will only lead to the destruction of the USA an Israel. The policy of appeasement will not kill our enemies. Appeasement will only lead to a wider and more deadly war.

Both countries need to recognize that they share common beliefs - something you cannot say about the Arabs.
Dittos! I think that Bush has duly called Ariel Sharon on his statement, too. . .

"Just because I want you so much on the Israeli side please tell me what Israel would need to do to fulfil your wishes. "

I really am not so concerned about what Israel does to Christian Arabs and Muslims.

My problem comes when the US supports everything Israel does which then causes Muslims to hate the US as an ally of Israel. So when Israel commits atrocities the Arabs immediately then blame the US as the US sends Israel weapons and money. I want the US to become neutral with respect to Israel. If the US were neutral I wouldn't care less if Israel killed all the Arabs because then my country wouldn't be associated with the act.

However, I would like Israel to crack down on the white slavery of Christian Slavic women that is going on in Israel.

"...ararat and everyone else that support, train and cheer on these murderers should be eliminated, and anyone that stands up should have their heads blown off."

What have I posted that disagrees with that? I just see the enemy is the entire region that has promoted an endless war since the late 60's when the scumbag Arafat took power. He should have had a bullet with his name on it back then, and we wouldn't have the threats we have today. From what I have read (and seen on History Channel), the terrorism with bombing and hijakking aircraft began in Palestinian training camps. Where were the Israeli's then? The groups supported by Arafat are responsible for training the IRA and groups in Germany. Where were the Arabs crying "infidel" then?

All the middle east should be warned that if the fighting does not end, ALL involved will be eliminated. Regardless of who "claims" to be our friends. My concerns are within our borders, not abroad.

Many try to say it is American foreign policy which is to blame, and I say that is bull-excrement! We supply the starving savages with food and arms to kill each other with. They have so many turncoats within their borders, who can be trusted? I believe NONE of them!

Sorry about my jogging comment. I still believe that patience, appeasement and endless talk is the wrong path to take. We need to strike at the capitals of every Arab state that sponsors terrorism and we need to do it soon. Right now, we are reacting just as the terrorist knew we would. We are doing nothing significant to change their opinion of us as lacking resolve and the ruthless courage it takes to even defend our own people.

You are quite a bit behind the times. Ever since Dubya and Putin had a couple of two hour phone calls two weeks ago Putin has been our biggest backer. They basically made a deal where Russia supports our efforts 100% and we support their efforts to put down the Chechniens, and eventually invite them to join NATO. IMHO it was a bit ot brilliant diplomacy by Dubya and bodes well for both Russia and the West. Remember all those "savvy" folks (many on this forum) who berated Bush for saying he could trust Putin? Once again Bush was underestimated.

On a simliar note, think back to the debate with Gore. Bush said that the military coup in Pakistan might be a good thing because it could bring stbility. At the time Gore and the media liberals said it was a big gaff, that it went against stated US policy, etc. Well, I'm sure it didn't go unnoticed in Islamabad, and it's paying off now. Bush once again saw a bigger picture, including the fact that we need a stabel pro-western government in Pakistan, particularly now that they have nukes. Once again Bush was right and the "experts" were wrong.

Am I supposed to feel sypathetic to a people who celebrated in the streets when they heard of the terrorist attack now?

My true feelings toward them are too radical for this message board.

Seems-to be kind- that you are slightly, shall we say, confused. Stay on the hate Israel side.

From the point of history, however, Czechoslovakia fell on its own accord. First, it, too tried to appease the Germans, and gave up the Sudetenland. Regardless of the legitimacy of the Germans claim to the land, the Sudetenland was the natural line of defense for the Czechs. By giving it up, they yielded the high ground to the Germans.

What history book are you reading?!!

You make it sound like giving up the Sudetenland was the Czechs' idea. They hated giving it up. Some in their government wanted to refuse to sign the Munich agreement. But the Brits and the French forced the Czechs to give up the Sudetenland for the greater good of world peace (supposedly).

Winston Churchill famously said afterward that the Czechs could have done better on their own--that they certainly could not have done worse.

What Sharon was saying is that Israel is not going to do worse vis-a-vis the terrorists than it could do on its own.

I am sorry to see this apparent dispute between the U.S. and Israel. But you can see why Israel would not want to commit national suicide just so we can keep Egypt and Saudi Arabia in our wonderful coalition.

I'd like to see 'em try.

The ROC army is one of the toughest fighting forces around, and China knows that. The Chinese have not yet stolen enough American military secrets to make a credible move against Taiwan.

The Arabs in Israel have more rights than all the rights combined from Islamic countries + some. Your support for those Islamic states though I'm sure is rock solid.

Christians in Israel have it very good. Now again, lets discuss the rights of Christians in Islamic lands. Tell your Arab friends to stop the Intifada and Jihad against Israel then all would live in peace and tranquility.

What I am saying is that I will condemn Israel for its treatment of its minorities so long as my country is associated with Israel. If my country were not associated with Israel I wouldn't feel the need to criticize Israel's treatment of minorities because then it wouldn't reflect on my own country.
