Tony SNow this morning said that Secretary Rumsfeld had kicked Fox News off his plane for his trip around the Middle East.

I clearly would not kick Nora out of the rack for eating crackers. But if she started to yack it would be all over.

I don't know what to make of Ashley Banfield. Remember the form in which she was first seen on MSNBC? That hideous drivel called "Homepage" with Mika(sp?) Brezenzsky and the other black gal? I took one look at Ashley's glasses and thought she was intentionally seeking the most hackneyed and cliched LibFem look possible.

"Homepage" died, of course. Women were not going to defect to MSNBC from Oprah and Barry Springer to see a watered down mish-mash of LibFem "news" and pc feminist suggestions for the house, the kids, and self.

So then we saw her on the streets at Ground Zero, hair full of dust, at one point weeping with some out-of-balance poor guy looking for someone. I thought some of that was fairly compelling.

Now she has dyed her hair brown, I assume not for cosmetic reasons but for duty in Afghanistan, and I think she's producing some interesting stuff. Not a genius, but I like her spunk.

IOW, I initially thought she was a preposterous cartoon-- now I think she's approaching being ok. (She also sports respectable MWs)

But those glasses....maybe they're just part of the scam.

I am well aware that Dick Cheney went to the area prior to the execution of Desert Storm but it occurred at a time when our forces were already positioned. It was more of a morale factor for our troops than anything else

The purpose of the meeting for Cheney was also to twist the arms of our so called allies.

How did that happen if FOXNEWS was kicked off the plane?

Banfield besides dying her hair is now talking with a slight accent. I think she is trying to be like CNN's Christiane Ammanpour?. Whats up with the Clark Kent glasses she wears? Mika Brzezinsky formerly of msnbc now on cbs is the niece Surprise! of Zbigniew Brzezinsky of new world order fame. She used to be in her younger days on a local cbs affiliate and talked about her days growing up surrounded by famous people like Henry Kissinger blah blah blah. CBC has turned her previous hip look into dowd city.
