There was a nice size crowd there today. Glenn Spencer's group, (americanpatrol.com), Barbara Coe had a lot of people there (Calif. Coalition for Immigration Reform), some people who listen to Terry Anderson and alas, 3 Freepers....the ever faithful patriot 9who I'm sure will go to heaven because he is at every event there ever is)HANGFIRE!!!, GOLDILUCKY who is very friendly and fun and I'm sure we will be seeing more of her in the future... and yours truly. We held up signs and and talked to people, passed out information and had a good time. Some people brought patriotic music which lent the festivities a lively air. Having attended these for severral years, I will say that more people were listening to us than usual and receptive. At least there were very few who actually growled at us. The big issue we were stressing was that the City Counsel has passed Order 40 which prevents Los Angeles Police from turning illegals into the INS. Geesh!! What is it going to take? Thanks for all your support and come on down, the next time. It's good exercise and fun and healthy all around~~

I take this illegal immigration problem pretty deep. Everytime a friend of mine and I drive up to a Carl's Junior or McDonald's we wind up having to repeat our order three times because the person who'd be taking our order could not speak coherently and had broken English. Of course it turns out the order taker was Mexican.

Now, I am not prejudice, but after having to repeat an order three times, you'd think they'd finally get it right with the change. Not so! Not only can they not speak English coherently, but some cannot even give out the correct change. What's wrong with adapting to the English language? In Italy, it is an absolute insult to their culture if a tourist does not at least speak Italian. Not only does the Italian culture feel insulted but they'll let you know it. They are very proud of WHO they are. So should we as Americans! And it is always an insult when I hear of these Mexicans who do not wish to speak English. And yet, we are expected to speak THEIR language? Sorry but not only am I proud to be an American but I choose to keep English as my main language. If I wish to speak another language, it should be of my choice and not shoved down my throat.

I've noticed that many of the restaurants that are run by Mexican managers will only hire their own kind.
