Where is the outrage? Galanter has gone off the deep end into earth worship. The known drug addicts have been term limited out of the council. The police are emasculated (even the quota of woman cops) and are leaving the sinking ship in droves. Are the people in LA all illegals or just brain dead?

Thanks for this, Abby. I KNOW that one of the issues to be addressed by Glenn is Special Order 40, which restricts the Los Angeles Police Department from cooperating with the INS. In other words, if a criminal picked up turns out to be an illegal alien, the LAPD MAY NOT REPORT THAT CRIMINAL TO THE INS.

The Los Angeles City Council continues to violate federal and state law by refusing to allow the Los Angeles Police Department to arrest persons for violating U.S. Immigration law. Moreover, they refuse to enforce state laws pertaining to false identification documents. This is wrong.

This is unconscionable. No wonder the middle class is moving out of LA in droves . . . besides the illegal aliens, you've got the gangs, infamous potholes, graffiti, and the dumbing down of public education, just to name a few. LA is turning into another Detroit, no thanks to the City Council.
