I recall it wasn't called Phiso-Derm back then. It was Phiso-Hex, and was withdrawn because of whatever the "hex" referred to - hexachlorophene maybe? It was re-introduced as Phiso-Derm. I remember being bathed in Phiso-Hex when I had chicken pox and I hated the smell and ugly green bottle. Seemed very medicinal and creepy.

Remember mercurochrome? it was withdrawn too. I always felt gypped because my neighbor got mercurochrome on her skinned knees and I only got antibiotic ointment. Her knees were such a cool color of pinkish red. . . I was really jealous!
