Thanks, I forgot about Carol Burnett!! Tim Conway and Harvey Korman - two of the funniest people who ever lived! But Gleason was my favorite - my nickname in my family was Crazy Guggenheim! And my dad at that time was big and round and crazy just like Gleason. I wanted to be one of the June Taylor Dancers when I was little. And awaaaaay we go!!!

That kind of comedy would never make on todays PC screen. Frank Fontane was a sweet guy with his Crazy Guggenheim, but the censors wouldn't let him on, today. Forget Dean Martin's way laid back nearly drunk facade. Red Skelton, no way Jose' Jemanez. The only thing tha flies to day is stupid southerners, adult sexual situations and gross out humor. Somebody is being cheated.

Do you remember Chico & the Man? Sanford & son was hillarious and my favorite show in the 6th grade was Baa Baa Black Sheep.
