Lawton Childs beat Jeb by scaring seniors, push-polling and other nefarious methods (plus your typical Democrat machine politics). I certainly expect Jeb to face the heat from these typical tactics coupled with the motivation of all those "disenfranchised minority voters" from last fall (let's see... that would be maybe 2 or 3 people according to that Civil Rights Commission's work).

If Reno IS elected, America -- the IDEA not the PLACE -- is deader than the Dodo bird and would, at that point, no longer be WORTH trying to save. I'm glad I'm as old as I am: Gratefully, I may not live to hear her final death rattle. Since we're busy expunging our 200 year old traditional celebrations, commemorations and observances and since they have become meaningless anyway, to observe the futility and waste of those who gave their lives in a vain attempt to leave us a legacy we've pissed on and pissed away, let's just replace them ALL with NATIONAL DAY OF URINATION. Our new, improved national leadership would gather at the Tomb of The Unknown in Arlington and, instead of placing a wreath... You're ahead of me, aren't you?
